Things that make Me happy...

Been in a bit of a blue cycle, so as an antidote, I thought of the the things that make me happy.

1> The sight of my rose on her knees, saying yes Master. She lvoes me completely, and has given herself to me heart mind body and soul.

2> Loud hard rock/metal music.... (jamming some tool right now. )

3> A rainy evening, where I can be outside under shelter, but watch it fall.

4> A long walk on the beach.... Can't wait to take rose to my favourite when she comes out here.

5> Chanting and practicing Buddhism

6> A long aimless drive in the country. (Until I think of how much its costing... LOL)

7> Having my lit friends to banter with.

8> Knowing that I have my former subbie/best friend/mentor/general all around wonderful person that loves me and rose and is always there, even if we haven't talked for a while.

9> I am loved...

10> That I am a Raider fan, win lose or tie... THere is something special about being part of the Raider Nation...

anyone care to share?

In no particular order...

1. Waking up in the morning to the feeling of him putting his arms around me and pulling me close.
2. Sitting outside in the spring sunshine.
3. Thunderstorms.
4. Conversations in which I actually connect with the other person, even if we aren't talking about anything important.
5. The feeling of accomplishment after I work out.
6. Doing something applicable and productive with respect to medicine and helping a patient or a "real" doctor.
7. The way he chuckles when I give him a walk-by smack on the ass.
8. "Leftovers."
9. Being able to say "I love you" and really, permanently mean it.
10. Kittens.
11. Dancing - swing, Irish, at a night-club, whatever kind.

1. Fly-fishing with my Dad (real dad) and having him compliment how well I'm doing (he's VERY sparse w/compliments or praise of any sort).
2. Writing something that says exactly what I want it to say and causing the reaction that I want in the reader(s).
3. Sitting on a covered porch watching a downpour while snuggled under a blanket reading a favorite book with hot mint tisane next to me.
4. Being held by someone who truly cares about me (and I them) when I'm feeling down, and having them stroke my hair and kiss me on the forehead making me feel safe and loved.
5. Doing something well and obtaining Master's approval of me. Hearing Him call me a cute pet name, especially when he's happily smiling at me.
6. Creating something and having it turn out exactly the way I pictured, or better. And then being able to give that item to someone and seeing them light up upon receipt.
7. Doing something for someone that helps them in some way (even small). Especially when they aren't expecting it and I've gotten to surprise them.
8. And especially dancing (many various types) and swordfighting (fencing mostly).
These are only some of my favorite things.

~Just being with my friends. I've never been one to have bunches and bunches of friendly acquaintances. I just have the best real friends a girl could ask for.

~Doing random stupid shit with my girlfriend, L. It's amazing that she puts up with me.

~Reading a good book, especially one with a happy ending.

~Riding, showing, grooming, or just spending time with my horses.

~Being with B. and snuggling on the couch.

~Cherry cheesecake.

~Sexy high heels.

~Text messages.

~Good hair days.

~The smell of my new flogger.

Sleeping naked, except for the cuffs I got for Valentine's day. Granted, it woulda been better if I were sleeping with Her, but I slept better last nite than I have in weeks.

Sitting here late on a Sunday night watching/listening to Yusuf Islam (formerly Cat Stevens) perform for the first time in decades...and surprise, surprise, he is doing some of the old ones he wanted destroyed when he converted to Islam so long ago!! It just shows, if you wait patiently, time turns things around again and brings a smile to the dial in memory and hope.

Ohh Cat my mom ( mum ) had vinyl of the album Tea for the Tillerman. Considering I hated just about any music my parents played ( Max Bygraves = Vomit), I really liked Yusuf. Lyric wise it was the first time I recognised music could have poetry within it. I am fairly sure the lyrics were printed on the back of the album cover. Eeeeeeeee I had to google the lyrics to this to remind myself. Whoa good thing I am feeling chippy today. Nice to hear you are kicking back and enjoying the music Cat.
