My granddaughters smile this morning. Her walking into the living room...she looks like ET did when he ran around the room. She just started walking on Saturday, she's still a little clumsy.

Oh, and biggest, heart-warming smile of today - Abs placing in the Winter Holiday Contest. It was a lovely story and well deserved it. I think I'm going to be smiling about it for a few days.

I was in a cool teacher mood today so I made a point of blasting out decent music in all my classes.

The best moment was when I put on The Cardigans - Lovefool. It hit the chorus and suddenly the entire class burst into song and started dancing

I thought that once again, this holiday season I'd have no reason to smile. Then, there was a knock on my door and I found out that two wonderful ladies had decided to make me cry and smile at the same time today.

Ladies, this world is a better place because you are in it and I can't say enough how loved, appreciated and accepted you've made me feel today.

This feeling won't leave me for a long time now.

My cousin's excitement at being employed someplace that doesn't involve taking care of children.

My husband's Christmas gift hints. (He tells me what he's done for me through regular conversation. His hints are in code and he's been driving me nuts for 3 days. I don't remember everything he's ever said and I never put the pieces together until I receive the gift. I love it!)
