eating fudge for breakfast

pretending to be asleep so the RA had to get the kids ready for school all by himself

tickling the youngest until she turned purple (even though she loves it)

Your turn.

Nothing so far. But the day is young.

I kicked a puppy.

Okay, not a REAL puppy -- but the 44-year-old variety otherwise known as my spouse.

He sulked away with his tail between his legs when I didn't fall to pieces at the mention of the "D" word. Was I supposed to wail & tear at my hair? Don't hold your breath!

I still haven't spoken a word to my husband. :D

oh, wait....that happens a lot.

Staying asleep till almost 9:30 this morning.

Exchanging emails with a sweet woman who seems genuinely interested in me when I know my heart is still somewhere else.

It's uncharacteristic and has started my day so so so slow.
I just don't feel like doing anything.
Oh. Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong.

Every.
Damn.
Day.

11:00 this morning for me, and that's a common weekend day. Of course, the 3:30 am on the weekdays makes me feel more justified (and keeps my sleeping patterns from making any kind of rational sense).

Q_C

Showing up to work late after a) sleeping in and B) taking a nice long steam.

Coffee and chocolate chip cookies for breakfast. With nuts.

And all the rain has been making me lazy, like I need more naps with the rain tapping against the roof and skylights.

Um. I'm still in my pajamas. This is becoming quite common. It's gonna suck when I have to start getting dressed again on Wednesday.

Enjoy it while you can, lol.

I went back to bed after dropping the kids off at school. I didn't get up until 10:30am.

LOL

Isn't there a school bus? That way you don't have to get dressed until you run out of food.

A sad tale for ya: our town is so small that we're short bus drivers, so while there should be a bus for him (and actually is one assigned), it doesn't run because there's no driver. So I have to chaffeur. Big pain in the ass.

You live in a town of short bus drivers? :D

That's exactly what Min said last night, while we were playing cards. But she wasn't quite so polite about having to get to bed by 10, to get up for 6.00.

She'll live. As will you. But it won't be pretty on that first day back.

*smug* I, on the other hand, once Min has gone to work......can happily and guilt free, return to bed to nap for as long as I like.

:D :nana: :D
