Things changed (post lockdown stories)

Instead of the present, let’s look to the future. The pandemic is over and with a vaccine present, everyone can go back to the way things were...or can they?

See, being stuck with people can...do things and some people aren’t ready to return to the status quo.

For non c-19 variants, Could be stranded somewhere instead.

Some examples to get started:

Pre-stay at home, Jenny was trying to get her roommates to come to Jesus. Well the good news is that she did...and they’re now in a polyamorous And very lustful relationship. The church is calling for Jenny to come back and volunteer and Jenny and her partners are scared of living a lie but church was Jenny’s life before everything went down.

Lesbian, gay, or bi:
a. Two roommates, stuck away from their romantic partners started becoming a lot more physically intimate. Started with jugs and becks on the cheek, then moved to spooning but never went past that. Now with things open again, they go back to their partners but miss the intimacy they had, and possibly want it to go further.

B. Same as above but they were fucking. Do they pretend they never cheated? Open up about it? Or continue an affair?

Couple: a married couple got stressed out being stuck in the same home and eventually started getting in fights. Just verbal ones but emotions flared and one night they started hatefucking. They just tore into one another and fucked like mad, ending in a shared orgasm that blew them away. Soon they kept findin ways to keep that energy up. Soon it became a routine: wake up, one insulted the other, they fucked like crazy. Went to separate rooms for work, came down to lunch and roughly fucked on the kitchen table, went back to work and then fucked again.

With it all over, they take some time to be apart and apologize profusely for all the things they said. They make love but it lacks the energy they had. Do they try to find another way of getting that passion, do they settle for something less intense but more loving, or do they just go back to hate fucking?

Taboo: older sibling moved back home after losing their job. Mom and dad were supportive but left to take a trip out of country. They wound up getting stuck in another country, leaving older sibling to take care of their younger sibling, who has their senior year ruined by c-19. Older sibling and younger butt heads aa older tries to get them to do their schoolwork, etc. while also getting a job (for extra tension, could be camwork). Eventually, the two start to get along and eventually they have sex (possibly after a pretend prom) things are weird but soon they’re having sex more and more. Then the quarantine ends and mom and dad come home. They’re really proud of older sibling and turns out they found a good job for them in a whole nother stare. The siblings aren’t sure how to handle having to watch themselves and not being able to satisfy their primal urges like they once did.

May/December: old man hired neighbor’s daughter (at home in her 20s) to be an in home care provider. It was just to help the family out at first but with his weakened immune system, he came to rely on her. Her dad winds up stuck at work most nights so she ends up spending almost every day with him. One day, she playfully teases him and then realizes he got aroused from it. Not having sex in some time, she seduces him (he only resists out of respect for his neighbor, he’s more than eager after seeing her lounge by the pool or sunbathe when she thought he was napping). But quarantine ends and she has a professional job calling for her. Do they just break things off, or do they keep things going?

So the main theme is people having trouble adjusting to their post c-19 lives and needing to decide whether they should just move on or keep what they got while they were stuck inside.

Someone self-isolated so much they became agoraphobic or fearful of crowds, or even other people. When things ease, what will their significant other do to get back together?

maybe society reopens but then when the virus comes back people have to lock down again. People begin to think about who they want to lock down with. This is probably more of a family idea, but not neccessarily. Perhaps families begin locking down together. two sisters, their husbands and kids. an their families stay in one house to share the work/expenses and have company. Perhaps parents stay too. Perhaps needs become obvious and are not between who they should be...

A second lock-down IMO is a definite possibility, losing probability if/when better treatments or preventions come into the mainstream, increasing probability if the virus acts more like the flu, mutating regularly to the point most preventative measures (eg, vaccines) are of reduced usefulness.

That being said, I agree that people will start looking at locking down with different eyes having been through it once.

Some will become preppers, gathering/hoarding ingredients and recreational activities. In porn stories, this preparation could lead to harem/reverse-harem setups, group sex settings, exhibition/voyeur, and/or non-con setups IMO easily.

Others will become even more financially strapped, especially if their business doesn't recover well between the waves of infections. These people will be scrambling to find ways to get food on the table. This could lead to bdsm/non-con type setups where debt slavery or the like occurs.

Regular folks in between these extremes will also react differently, the second time around, but I'm not thinking clearly enough right now to go into that - I'd love to hear others' takes on where this kind of setup could lead.

isolated communities

There is a chance that small towns, like utopian hippy communes, will isolate themselves somehow. Or perhaps families will build compounds on large enough parcels of land to survive with little contact.

The cruise industry may sell ships to rich people who purchase and manage ships with complete isolation. The logistics of supplies could be worked out and workers would give up two years to go through quarantine and then not leave the ship for that time. This could lead to some stories too.

Perhaps islands are set up as isolated communities. Either way it's all basically the same idea. Small community of people "locked" into a single location where the rules are made by the inhabitants or perhaps a single person or small group.

I am a little weird, but seeing people hugging through plastic sheets made me think of a future where people have sex this way. Separated by a condom like material. Think boy in the bubble kind of thing. Enough air for an hour or so naked people never actually touch skin to skin, even breath on the other. To use a crude analogy, glory hole, where the material is opaque and strangers have sex never knowing who it was....

I see great story potential in situations where tourists or business travellers are stranded far away from their normal lives and relationships for months. They are led into lifestyle choices they would normally never consider - whether by force of cicumstance to survive or by choice to escape their pre-COVID lives.
