this is the outpouring reaction of a stressed, now-joyous populace after 4 years of insanity, a childish man in the house who didn't know how to do his job. like the champagne cork bursting out of its bottle and releasing the bubbly after it being trapped and shook up enough, this is a force that cannot be denied.
sure, the lack of social distancing is a real problem; no doubt there will be some new cases of covid, probably even some unnecessary deaths and that is something that bothers anyone with eyes, but imagine the crowds if t had won? not a mask in sight.
the difference is dems understand the pandemic is here and ravaging--and whose damned fault it is that cases and death stats have grown to where there are now. they also know biden's conglomeration of diversity embrace science and have the WILL as well as the tools to do the right thing.

America is simply celebrating the demise of the reign of Cheetoh Benito aka Wheezy Mussolini.
Had the Democrats increased their House majority and captured the Senate, then your commentary about the "forever dead" Republicans might have had more merit.
But there is work to be done. 48% of America has gone on record that the first priority in Murica is "stiggin it to teh Libs". It's a cancer on our political process and a number that high makes it very hard to reclaim the moral high ground in the world.
Joe Biden will be a one term transitional president, he's said as much. We've got four years to determine where we as Americans want to go as a country.
