Global Warming

I care enough that I switched to solar and wind power. Does that count? And in the middle of August, I am always forcibly reminded to care while I am roasting my butt in this nice global warming zone we call California.

Although, "they" say a lot of things. I distincly remember "them" saying that we were headed into a new Ice Age when I was a kid. They are distinctly unreliable. But, just to make sure...

You know, they never told me why this would be a negative thing. The ice caps hold most of Earth's fresh water reserves. Increasing the amount of usable water in the environment while warming the Earth's surface isn't the worst thing to happen to the planet, in fact it could have some beneficial affects as well. Perhaps we should be more worried about that accidental dumping of tons of crude oil into the oceans or acid rain..
