They rejected my story? Impossible

So my story has now been rejected four times on the grounds of excessive abuse. Which seems a little absurd, as it IS a non-consent story. I've resubmitted it four times, each time making it less objectionable, and the last time cutting the damn thing in half, and it's still been rejected.

Are there any guidelines as to what is and isn't 'excessive abuse'? Is there any consistency in who vets these stories? It seems to me that fetish and n-c stories with more objectionable content than mine are published daily. And finally, are there any editors who are game enough to review my story and let me know if I ever have ANY chance of getting it accepted?

Thanks

Non-consent is generally for rape victim fantasy, not rapist fantasy. The rule is that the victim must enjoy the process.

Thanks Muffin

That's good to know - it means literotica will not publish this story, so there's no point making furthur changes and resubmitting it.

My only complaints are that:

this rule doesn't seem to be universally enforced. See the last five pages of new submissions for non-consent stories in which it's emphatically not the case.

and

If this guideline had been posted somewhere, or someone given it to me as criticism the FIRST time I submitted the story I wouldn't have wasted time rewriting it, and whoever vets the submissions wouldn't have wasted time rereading and rejecting it.

Guidelines need clarification

I agree. I think Lit should modify the Guidelines to clarify the policy on:

1. Violence -- what is acceptable and what isn't -- I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE THE LINE IN THE SAND IS ON THIS ONE

2. Non-consent/rape -- AS KM STATES "the victim should enjoy it at the end" (?!)

3. Underage (<18) -- whether acceptable to imply sex earlier than 18th birthday but not portray it -- MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT THIS IS OK

These questions have been coming up repeatedly from people here.

Incidentally

I did rewrite the story so that the victims turned out to have enjoyed it. The story was still rejected . . .

In regards to KillerMuffins first point, however, the story is clearly rapist fantasy, not rape victim fantasy. Maybe this should be the criteria?

I will see what can be done about modifying the submission guidelines so things might be less confusing. Of course, I don't have say in these things. I'm just the local know-it-all.
