They listen to EVERYTHING !

Misreading. Recording isn't the same thing as listening. And NSA is a whole lot better at collecting streams of data than they are at retrieving anything specific in what was collected and stored.

Bring back the handwritten letter and semaphore flags.

Or use postcards. Anyone in the delivery system can read them, but do they know the hidden meanings such as 'Norwich'?

I thought you meant kids. Because they do, unless you ask them to do something you want them to do. Because then they're deaf.

Or wife's, they don't listen either, unless I tell her to go buy something. But even then she only hears part of what is said.

So this is why my internet connection is so wonky at times. And heaven forbid if you said words like bomb, explosive, Obama, blow up, doll all in the same conversation. :D

This information spooks me:-
Look here.

Calm down HP. It's only our well regulated Executive branch trying to keep America free of creeping socialism. Nothing to worry about.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said accusations that the Central Intelligence Agency spied on the panel’s computers as it investigated the use of harsh interrogation techniques raised concerns about possible violations of the Constitution.

“The CIA has not only interfered with the lawful congressional oversight of its activities, but has also seemingly attempted to intimidate its overseers by subjecting them to criminal investigation,” Reid said in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder obtained by Reuters.

“These developments strike at the heart of the constitutional separation of powers between the legislative and executive branches,” Reid added.

The Justice Department had no immediate response to Reid. “We are reviewing the letter,” department spokesman Brian Fallon said in an email.

Attorney General Holder told a news conference on Wednesday that Justice was reviewing the referrals from the CIA on the Intelligence Committee’s interrogation review. He said receiving a referral does not mean the department would investigate.

See Eric has your interests at heart.

As an example of the even handedness of Executive Branch see:

FORT BRAGG, North Carolina (Reuters) – A U.S. Army general who had faced possible life in prison on sexual assault charges was reprimanded by a judge on Thursday but avoided any jail time for mistreating a captain during one of several improper relationships with junior female officers.

Brigadier General Jeffrey Sinclair was ordered to forfeit $20,000 in pay but he also avoided dismissal from the Army for military crimes that were aired in a rare court-martial of a top officer.

The married general admitted to various offenses this week in a plea deal that dropped the sexual assault charges involving the female captain, who said Sinclair forced her to perform oral sex when she tried to break off their adulterous, three-year affair.

See how well the system works here? That General is going to have to pay $20 G's as a penalty for abusing his troops, and probably be reduced in rank, before he is retired.

Soon the "Dark Lords" won't even need CIA/NSA minions, as they will have co-opted your laptop to watch you!:eek:

So they are going to see a bunch of people touching themselves while reading or watching porn.

"Watson, I need you. NSA I really don't need you yet. I'll let you know when I do. Thank you."
