They got us again

I'm developing a major Allison Janney fetish. (Don't laugh, okay? She's tall and sexy and HOT.)

No laughing here. Also in the tall and sexy (and in this case absolutely adorable gothy-could-be-kinky), is Pauley Perrette playingAbby Sciuto on NCIS. Gah.

Tonight's episode of CSI: New York was about a BDSM related homicide.

In what little of the episode I saw, I caught such precious lines as:

"[I can't remember] years of marriage and this is what it takes to get you off?! I'll put you in a submissive position!"

"No stop! You can't violate her trust!"

The scene itself was actually pretty hot. They had this car rigged up so that someone could be suspended upside down in front of the hood with their head just inches above the road. Apparently the bottom had a speed fetish. It all went wrong when she hit the panic button and her husband ignored the safe signal.

Moral of the story guys:

DON'T IGNORE SAFEWORDS!!!

Keep it SSC and the Ds will be off your back. You kids play nice now, ya hear? ;)

Sounds like the moral of the story is: "Don't be a stupid fuck and let someone hang you upside down inches from the road off the hood of a speeding car" or maybe I just am too plain old fashioned...... ;)

I live.

I'm currently staying with my sub as my building has no power, and probably won't until about Tuesday or so. Her family is being really incredible, and I'm lucky to have them and all the other people who have been supportive of me through this. Still, I can't wait to stop being a refugee and get back into my place so I can start cleaning up and living in my own domain again.

This turned out to be the worst hurricane to hit my immediate area in a really long time. Last year's hurricanes were indeed stronger, but I was in the fringes of it, whereas the eye was just south of me this time.

My place continued to flood since I last posted and I moved as much furniture away from the windows as I could to protect it, but there didn't seem to be anything I could do to seal my windows shut. Eventually I called a gay couple in my building that I'm friendly with and the bottom half of the duo screwed my windows shut like DVS suggested. Clever bastards, those fags. I went up to their aparment and they had tapped into the building's emergency power supply. They were well lit, cooled by a few of those ionic breeze fans and watching TV while the rest of us were living in the stone age.

All in all the experience wasn't too bad. I have tile so flooding damage to my place is likely to be minimal. A window cracked, but I have to get those changed anyway. I got to meet a lot of my neighbors and even got to save some girls who were trapped out on their balcony. Everything in my fridge is going to rot, but I don't keep much in the freezer anyway. I gave some meat to a homeless guy, although I don't see how he's going to cook it. He assured me he could though, and I doubt he can exchange chicken breast and mahi mahi fillets for crack, so I'll take him on his word.

At this point, the whole thing kind of just cracks me up. I begged for this hurricane for so long so I could get out of school. It seems to be the never-ending irony of Floridians to overprepare for those hurricanes that will miss us and under-prepare for those sleepers that everyone will remember.

Oh well, I won't be the grasshopper again.

See, you're getting older and wiser every day. Now, as far as those gay couples go...man, talk about organised people!! And, they ALWAYS impress me with their class under pressure.

Holy crap, glad you are okay! Hurricanes aren't anything to mess around with, I am sooo glad I live in a pretty stable and sedate area. Nothing more than the occasional snow storm... thanks for letting us know!!

Believe it or not, DVS, you are one of the few on my list. I'm not quite ready to trust anyone just yet, but I'm watching you.

:rose: :D

Well, if you know anybody in Lousiana, Mississippi or eastern Alabama, it's their turn, now.

Louisiana is going to be hit hard, and as low as it is in relation to sea level(New Orleans is actually below sea level), the storm surge is going to be around 25 feet high and that's just an estimate for a category 4 storm. Right now, this is a category 5 storm, but as it hits land, it should slow down.

Right now, they are saying this storm is worse than Camille, in 1969. They are using the Superdome for a make shift evacuation spot for people who couldn't or wouldn't leave.

Katrina is kind of a bitch, it seems.

Yes I am well aware of that DVS and trying to not panic.

For those I know in those areas.
