Hmmm, if they can take dinner knives and forks away from Latinos they can certainly 'control' the behavior of white house guests. The 'guests' obviously staged the event and were permitted to do so. (An indication of an eroding relationship between the white house and the secret service? Why would that be?)

What struck me as odd is the obvious age of those 'posing' for the shot. They weren't some irresponsible youths, they were folks that you would think had reached some level of maturity. People that you would think would have some modicum of respect for the venue they were invited to and the history behind that venue, if not for the president that invited them to begin with.

While superficially disrespecting Reagan, they blatantly disrespected their host. And in their juvenile inability to keep their antics to themselves have actually damaged the very person that they were there to fete' to begin with.

Now, the hard core anti-gay's are sending those pix around the web with the notation, "See, I told you so." And the fence sitters are going, "Is that the way they really are?"

Those photo's have set 'gay acceptance' and the president back further than most of supporters or either are likely to ever admit.
