And speaking of waiting and seeing. I think I'll mosey on over to Times Square this evening and witness David Blaine emerge from his icey tomb. Live on TV tonight at 10pm EST. Look for me in the crowd. I'll be the tall, blonde handsome one - there are few of us here in Manhattan.

Today - I'm up there once again - got a TV show today with Tom Paxton. Can't wait to strum his guitar during sound check.

David Blaine....???

Yez, same guy only he was buried longer than that - 9 days or so - working for Trump at the time - promoting a new building he was topping off.

Now he's encased in a block of ice over on Times Square. He's been in there 3 days - he emerges tonight live on US network TV at 10 - a special on his magic follows. He's a hot ticket right now.

He's rare - a "street magician" - for years he's wondered NYC and simply performed for hand-outs here in Manhattan. He can do this trick which is apparently truly amazing - he levitates. Now - for some reason - he can't do this trick on TV - it will obviously give it away. But I've seen video tape of him doing this for people on the street and their reactions are genuine - he freaks them the fuck out!!! I'd love to witness this trick.

Anyway, he's not your average pull a rabbit or slice a babe magician. Blaine? He's like a Gen-X Penn & Teller. Who I also like.

I am sick today but a 10. Coughing, stuffy nose, achey muscles and soe throat but it's my birthday so it is a great day.
