When you hear the term 'Vampire', you think of a monster who once was a man, and not just any man, but a man of royal blood. A count. You think of a man and his son, Dracul and Dracula! You think of romance and lust, and not the carnal need to survive!
How foolish you are! The Vampyric race is all around you, and we are like nothing you've ever known! We are not like the late night characters that scared you in your youth. We are not like anything Bram Stoker or Wes Craven could dream. We are as real as you.
But, we are a superior race. To us, you are chattel in the masses. When we see you, smell you, know you...the dinner bell rings! Oh yes, your days are numbered, mortal. One day it shall be your turn. One day Vampyres will rise as the known superior race! And when that happens, some of you will be left barely alive to be our slaves and feeding grounds.

OOC: This role play is open to all. Vampyres and mortals are both needed. Mortals can be willing victims, unwilling victims, hunters, and the "lucky" who always seem to escape. I shall start an OOC Thread, so this post shall be the only OOC found here. I ask that you make your request and post your character bio on that thread. I ask that role players in this story communicate with one another (be it on the OOC Thread, PMs, non Lit IMs, or e-mail) so we can all have a vague story idea as we write. And, I ask that no one harm or kill another character without the role player's knowledge and consent.
I shall post my character bio on the OOC Thread shortly. One last thing, I ask that I be the next to post on this thread before others continue the story line. Thank you.
