The whole show {Dragon Ball Z}is nothing but fighting and trying to kill thier opponents. Not just beat but to kill.

Yes it is Todd, but you need to understand, in the country it was made, it wasn't for kids. It was made for older teenagers and adults. It was never really meant to be a younger kids show and in actuality what we see on American TV is in fact a heavily censored version. In the original show there is spurting blood, massive fatalities, heads and arms being severed and people torn apart.

Not quite. Tom and Jerry violence is kind of like violence against silly putty. There is never any blood, and all the character's have to do is just pop themselves back into the right shape. With anime, bone snaps, sinew rips apart and blood sprays everywhere. It's a little icky.

The thing with Dragonball Z is that it's now shown at a time when most kids are in bed. It used to be on around supper hour but they moved it to much later in the night. Hell, they don't even show Gundam Wing at a decent hour now.

As Sillyman has already mentioned, it's heavily censored to leave out the blood & guts.

I would imagine WWF to be a bit more influential. I mean, what kid really thinks he can turn his hair yellow and power up?

Most can manage throwing their friends off the balcony onto a card table.

The scariest thing I've ever seen on DBZ is when they hold their faces in those little grunts. They sort of look like they're trying to hold up for a really big pooter.

It doesn't intimidate me in the least.

That is unless you have access to japanese versions.

This stuff has been out in japan for years and years and years.

It's nothing new.

There's something special about the scene where SSJ2 Son Gohan puts his fist through Bojack's chest.

Other scenes that are nice

* Vegeta blowing up one of Nappa's plant men
* Rekoome breaking Soh Gohan's neck
* Cell breaking Piccolo's neck
* Vegeta cutting Guldo's head off
* Freezer getting cut in half by his own Kienzan
* Mirai no Trunks slicing Freezer to bits
* Super Buu forcing his body down a man's thoat til the man exploded
* Two men who were sniping people and blowing their brains out

Other non violent but fun scenes

Roshi peeking up Chi Chi's dress
Roshi staring at Bulma's breasts
Roshi grabbing 18's breasts
Roshi reading nudie mags

Ahh, for the "fun" scenes. If only they could be included. What's wrong with a nice panty show now and then, I ask you?
