Hello, people. What do you think about this idea as the sexual core of an erotic story:
A man and a woman have sex in a place or/and time that is not good for such an event. A group of people stop them without any warning but pretend to be merciful and compassionate and encourage the lovers to continue. The couple manages to reach orgasm. In the first moment of their climax, they are separated and held without any chance to stimulate their genitals.


Is this idea worthy of a story?

Well if you stop right there, it's kind of a cliffhanger. You are doing to the readers what the other characters are doing to the couple. Some might enjoy it, but most probably wouldn't.

I think it would be more interesting to have what you just described be the "first act" of the story, and then continue with (second act) how they deal with the frustration, and (third act) how the situation is eventually resolved.

Not my kind of story, but kind of a challenge to come up with a setting where that kind of story could play out.

Maybe some very reigious society, like Europe during the middle ages. They are discovered by a priest or some other religious authority. He's enjoying what he sees but of course can't admit it, so he lets them get to the point of release before interrupting them, like you describe, as a punishment (he really wanted an excuse to keep watching). Who knows where it goes from there.
