More and more people are including these funny signs, etc, in messages to me.

Does anybody have a list of what they all mean?

I typed in a semi-colon and a closed bracket and a smiling face has appeared.

if you look down to the left, while writing your post, you will see a small box entitle smilies. If you hold your cursor over one of the smilies, it will tell you what it means.

It's smilies And so on.....you use codes to get them to work!

as in, an icon to show emotion

since they are composed of keyboard characters they run side to side you have to turn your head to really understand them at first
