Junkets in outer space
and a loss of face.
Ice cream in the park
and some Cutty Sark.
Jeans with knee holes
and ten foot poles.
Snow in June
and the movie Dune.
Really fast cars
and people named Lars.
Bread and butter
and lying in the gutter.
A bad case of lice
and some old fashioned vice.
Pickled grapes
and lime green drapes.
Despotic kings
and mosquito wings.
These are a few of my favorite things.

I love my dog Indy,
Days when it's windy,
The scent of vanilly,
Just being silly.
The smell of salt air,
A good day for my hair,
Clothes fresh from the dryer,
Staring into the fire.
All kinds of food,
Eggrolls are good,
And so is eating spaghetti,
While watching movies by Nani Moretti.
Anime cartoons,
Blowing up balloons,
Roller coaster rides,
Little kids on slides.
I like sunbathing outside,
Going for a ride,
In my station wagon car,
Although it won't go very far.

Skies full of stars, raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens.

Brown paper packages tied up with strings;
these are a few of my favorite things.

Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels,
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles.

Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things...

When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things and then I don't feel so baaaaaaaaaaaaad

When the dog has mites, when the emcee sings, when I'm feeling plaid
