Negotiations with Keanu to become the next superman have fallen through! I don’t care why, all I know is that my love’s not going to be tarnished with Keanu’s acting. They were thinking of using Brad Pitt. NO! But there going to go with a no-name actor.. yes!

I didn't find any new mention of cast finalizations on IGN, but here's a bit about the director and the chosen script. As a life-long Superman fan, I think I'll skip this movie.

Last I had heard, they were considering Brendan Fraser, John Travolta (yes *PUKE*), and Keanu. A "no-name" would be the best choice.

I actually read something about the Batman vs Superman idea and thought it was cool, but I guess they are putting the kaibosh on that idea.

Didn't Spiderman prove that you could make a good superhero movie by largely following the comic book? I get suspicious when they start talking about "re-imagining."
