Okay, so this morning I check the Amazon ranking of my book, The Usahar, and I noted that the e-book version had hopped up to a ranking of about 112,000, which is nice, because it means that someone bought a copy. That's been happening about once a week all summer.

I get back from work and decide to check again, figuring it will have slid back somewhat.

It was up to about 52,000.

So I go to dinner. Then I get back and check again....

It's up to 35,762.

Yay for e-books!

Just curious, why don't you post here more often? We could use more of your input, methinks.

Thanks, everybody!

I checked again this morning (I'm clearly a rankings 'ho now) and it was at about 69,000.

:)

I was wondering if this was the professional equivalent of checking Lit scores every 10 minutes. ;)

Still, the first time you see your book -- YOUR BOOK! -- on Amazon-dot-fucking-com has got to be a MAJOR rush.

Congrats, Karen!! :nana: You know, I have to tell you, every time I see the title of this thread, I have to sing, ". . . What it is ain't exactly clear . . . you better stop, children, what's that sound? Everybody look what's goin' down . . ." Sorry.
