As long as the company is right, do you really pay any attention to the music anyway?? I've always found music helps when 2 people ( or more) meet, but once the conversation gets going, sometimes it becomes more of a distraction than a help..

Depends what's on your agenda. I love live music. I like to go out with friends and LISTEN to music. I also like to go out and just talk with friends too. Depends on the mood.
So yes - I do pay attention to the music and to the company. Best is to go out have dinner - talk... drinks - talk... live music - LISTEN - musician's take a break - talk... live music - LISTEN... etc... then your place or her place and act on how horny the music got you...
