Viva Las Vegas, baby. I'm off this weekend. I've been practicing my double-down mathematics, and I promise to never take insurance against an ace. I'll only play the anchor chair, and tip the dealer even when the cards run cold. Luck be a lady tonight. Hit me!

Actually I don't think I'll have much opportunity to gamble, I'll be too busy working. But, this IS my first trip to Sin City, so I oughta commit at least one sin while I'm there.

Any suggestions?

I wish I lived in the desert!

Ahhhhh have a good time, as much as you can. We will be waiting to hear your confession upon your return.

:)

Where are you staying? As much as I enjoy the strip, I prefer The Rio. Serious gamblers there, as opposed to the fanny pack crowd at half the strip casinos today. The club at the top of the Rio is a choice spot - great view of Vegas. Dress code strictly enforced, but I assume you're bringing slacks and nice shirts, so you'll be fine. Another benefit of The Rio - it's not unionized, which means that all the cocktail waitresses wear the same size 6 Brazilian cut outfits. Makes for the best eye candy around.

As far as sins go, I always spent my days in the spa, getting slathered in expensive mud and such, so I can't help you there. Have fun. :)

Vegas is a wonderful place to visit...
I was there in '88 just before the powers that be decided to make it more family oriented.
My only regret is that I didn't have more time to take it all in.
Have fun.

I'm bringing a tuxedo, actually, so I think I'm good to go. Most of the "Events" I'm going to are pre-planned media thingys, but if they're boring I'll check out a club or two. Thanks for the recommendation. (I'm staying at the Las Vegas Hilton because it's near where I'll be doing business. I think it's a bit off the main strip, isn't it?

I stayed at the Hilton in Vegas. Even have a t-shirt to prove it. :)

Have a great time Dixie.

chuckle

they have a great breakfast buffett there but you have to get up early, and yes.. it is a bit off the main strip. You'll meet lots of interesting people there because it houses seminars from all over the world.

I won $60 on the Betty Boop slots just as you head into the huge tv room where there's like 30 tv screens against one wall w/seating area. Good luck.

Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT give the guy with no legs on the skateboard any money. He is a druggie.

Viva Las Vegas

sounds wonderful darling ....

and i just bought a brand new red wig, skin tight black capris, and stiletto dancing pumps ...

ready for our dance number, Elvis? ;)

Dixon, have a good time. I agree with Mischka - The Rio is my favorite hotel/casino in Vegas.

Stay away from slots - worst odds in the house. Video poker is my game. I won $600 on New Years.
