I'm not very good at making threads; mostly I'm good at wrecking them. I figured out that little bit about myself in hindsight because at the time I'm wrecking one, I feel like I'm making it better. But it's sorta like driving the bus into the lake because I want everyone to enjoy a swim. This is a horrible catastrophe, but for me it's like flying in a dream, no one ever gets hurt and instead we all strip down to our skivvies and hop in with big smiles, a keg rolls up outta nowhere, and then a news crew, to report about how the tragic bus accident, in an astounding turn, has astonishingly become the outdoor party event of the year. They would air it in their "good news" live segment. We'd hit them with water balloons. The crash site would be a beacon of joy.
