We still watched the skies, the year we had no dragons. Still, the farmers tilled their fields a little longer, and the children played further from their homes, and the parents didn't fret every time their children passed from view.
It was a time of peace. It was a time of prosperity. It was a time of love.
We still watched the skies, though, for we knew the dragons would inevitably return.

FOR Cyan BloodsBane

Then, lo, many years later, the dragons returned, and were immediately shot down by an Intercontinental Ballistic Missle defense system.

And there was much gnashing of teeth.

There you go again DCL. Made my night. You crack me up. Ever do any stand up?

However, the ICBMs with their 20% fail rate, missed some of the dragons, and there was much cheering.

I think Cyan said he was at a rave tonight.

15 years. Clubs, colleges, cruise ships -- basically anything that begins with a "C". (Cleveland, crappy TV shows...) Still do it from time to time.

Carnivals?

I did the stand up thing for a while myself, though it was more mainstream, I never came out of the clubs. You ever hear Killer Beaz., or Billy Gardell. You remind me of them.
