The XFL starts tonight

I am very curious to see what it is all about and will be watching tonight.

The what? What is XFL? Naughty football? Now that would be waaayyy cool.

The XFL is football but with a twist, different rules than that of the NFL, NO Extra Point Kicking, NO fair catches and the QB is fair game (meaning the defense can take all kinds of shots at the QB).

It is a NEW football league that was started by Vince McMahon and NBC (? I think?) and has the potential to be quite interesting.

It is on NBC, the first game is starting at 8 PM EST.

I am giving Vince one chance on this XFL thinga 60 minute game takes more than 90 minutes to watch then its goodbye XFL. Thats my biggest beef is that games do not stick to the time period that they say they require to play.

My biggest beef is when you tune in the last of any sport read 3 minutes on the clock and it takes another hour before regular programing comes back on that is what makes me angry, this is Vince's one chance. You got 90 minutes Vince.

Have "PIP" on the Webtv....Listening to a "Blues" station on the stereo.

Don't really look all that much ruffer than the "NFL".

I'll give it a few more minutes,then make up my mind on if I'll watch it again,or not.

The XFL was a major letdown. The camera made me dizzy. The cheerleader chicks weren't all that. Maybe it'd be great for kids weaned on Playstation, it was like watching a video game. The plays were good, though.

The XFL just another victim. If they aint gonna stick to a 15 minute quarter why the green hades even bother having a time clock?

180 minutes to play a 60 minute game, that is just plain wrong.

I thought the XFL presentation was pretty good. They weren't afraid to try new things...rules, cameras, audio, and the reporting was certainly up close and personal. The announcers were balanced and if the play was bad, or a player just seemed to lose heart, they told it like it was.

I liked it and will watch again. Somehow it was refreshing to know that most of these athletes really love the game, that money was of less significance in their decision to play, although I am sure a few of them can use it.
