Shannon Holland: 22, college senior, 5'6, 130 lbs, 36C breasts. Chin length blonde hair, dark brown eyes, creamy pale skin with freckles over her nose and cheeks. She works late nights at a video store to make extra spending cash during her last year of college. It's after her shift one night, on her way home, when her car suddenly quits. Alone on the dark country road, she spots a car.....but should she have accepted the ride?

I had just finished locking up the front door and was so ready to go home. Today had been so stressful, and all I wanted was a hot bath, a cup of cocoa, and then my soft queen sized bed. Looking around the parking lot to make sure the coast was clear, I hurried to my car, hunched over to ward off the bitter wind that was blowing. I could hear thunder in the distance and I smiled to myself. How I loved thunderstorms. So peaceful yet exciting at the same time. I only hoped I made it home before the storm hit. My windshield wipers barely worked, and driving through a torrential downpour wasn't something I wanted to do tonight.
My car was a beast. Old and definitely not dependable. But being a poor college student who depended only on myself, I couldn't afford better. So far, she'd gotten me from point A to B without any major mishaps.
As soon as I closed the door behind me, the rain hit. Cursing under my breath, I started the engine, listening to her engine rumble loudly as I pressed the gas. Flipping on my wipers, I muttered again as only one began to flop back and forth. Damn I couldn't wait till I graduated and had a good job. Maybe then I could replace this old monster.
About 20 minutes later, I was finally on my road, a winding, skinny county road that would take me to the apartment I could barely afford. That was why it was so far out from the rest of town; it was cheap. As I rounded a sharp curve, I heard my car give a loud growl and then suddenly I was left without power. No music, no headlights, no windshield wipers. Panicking, I twisted the wheel to the left, and felt myself begin to skid on the wet road. Crying out, I turned the wheel the other way, and finally felt myself slowing down. I ended up in the ditch, my back end in the deep crevice, front poking up in the air.
"Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!" I yelled, opening my door and climbing out to assess the situation. Hopeless. That's what it was. After 10 seconds of being in the rain, I was drenched, my black work shirt clinging to my curves, my hair plastered to my cheeks and forehead. There was no way I could move my car, and I had no cell phone or way to contact anyone. The nearest store was 20 minutes behind me and home was still 20 away. And that was in the car. "Fuck. Now what?"
I started to climb back in the car, pushing my now soaked hair out of my face. There was nothing to do but wait till the downpour ended so I could walk home. But then I noticed the headlights hurtling toward me. The car was going way too fast for these conditions and I envisioned myself getting ran over as the car neared me. I jumped into the ditch just as the car passed by, a plume of water pouring over me. Then brake lights flashed, and the car slowed down. Finally, it stopped. I watched nervously as reverse lights came on and the car backed toward me. Climbing out of the ditch, I waited by the side of the road, safely out of the way of the car. When it was in front of me, the passenger door opened, and a deep voice said, "Get in.
I bent over to peer inside the car and saw a man, well, really a boy. He couldn't have been older than me. And he was rather good looking. He smiled at me, and motioned for me to climb in. "Would you rather stand out here and catch a cold? I'll take you to a phone. It looks like you got yourself into a bit of trouble, ma'am. I'd just like to help." He lifted his hands in the air. "I promise I'm harmless." His grin was infectious, and I felt the nervousness leave my body. I nodded and hurried to his car, sliding into the passenger seat.
"Thank you so much," I said, running my hands over my hair and then pulling my drenched shirt from my breasts. "I didn't know what I was going to do. I'm so lucky you came along."
By now we were on our way, and he turned to look at me. The smile was gone. That was when I started to wonder if maybe I'd made the wrong decision.
