It just started one day out of the blue there was no warning or any place to hide "They" had destroyed most life on the planet killing the oceans the trees more then half the population was laid waste they were the lucky ones for the people that lived had to live with ash and death nearly everywhere sources of water were scarce making people do outrageous things like looting and killing each other.


I was one of the lucky ones making my way toward one of the nearby mountains and living off the land and trying never to run into anyone else sure there were a few times I had to make trades with passerby's letting them stay a night for whatever they had on them at the time they always tried to offer there wives or daughters for use to stay on my land but I always passed it wasn't like I wasn't one for sexual needs but I never trusted people and with how the world turned out.

Today as I was taking my usual route down the mountainside to one of my secret garden stashes picking a few tomatoes from the planet I heard a noise in the nearby forest as I picked up my weapon I aimed it for the opening waiting for whatever was going to come out.

Ariana had been walking through the woods hoping to find somewhere to stay before night fell. Her stomach growled softly as it had been hours since she last ate. Trying to cut down on the amount of food as she didn't have much left. Though to her surprise she stumbled upon what looked like a garden? Looking around as she brushed her brunette hair out of her eyes. Her chance to stock up on some food.

The leaves crunching under her feet as she began to walk towards the garden. Sliding her bag off her shoulder though froze as someone came out of the woods. Ariana stumbled backwards with her hands up. "Please...don't hurt me."she pleaded.

As I came out aiming my gun at who was in my garden I took a step back making sure my aim was true in case shit turned sideways.

"I haven't decided yet on whether to harm you or not there isn't anyone more people nearby is there?"

I took a step forward and grabbed a piece of rope from my belt as I said: "Turn around and get on the ground with your hands behind your head."

Hell, I didn't care if this was a woman and a pretty one based on the dirt covering her body I wasn't going to take a chance.

Ariana began to tremble as she saw this man come out of nowhere. Choosing to cooperate with him as she slowly slid her backpack back on. Kneeling down and placong her hands behind her back. "Please...I mean no harm...I'm just hungry."she pleaded. Praying that this man wasn't going to harm her and just let her go.
