I have this idea, but have three others at least to write first, so if anyone waants to try :

it starts with the title " The Widder Next Door"

a married man (P) is transferred to the Deep South. His wife is bored so she also takes a job. Soon, she's staying out late, coming home too tired for sex.

Ironically, he then gets laid off, so is home while he looks for work. He strikes up a coffee friendship with the (young?) widow next door, who is home with small kids, living off insurance monies.

She eventually complains how in this strict religious town, no one wil date her, cause trhey all think she should be stil inmourning or something. They are goood enough friends at this pointthat she tells P how horny she is. So is he. They quickly become friends with benenefits, but must keep it secret so as not to scandalize the town....

Heh, this reminds me of a movie I saw the other day, "Mr. Mom". Had a plot similar to this, except the guy decided at the last moment not to fool around with the neighbor lady (which was just as well, cause this was right when his wife came home, having quit her job after punching out her boss when HE tried to puit the move on HER :D

For Lit purposes, we could always go for the opposite results

We had a Widder in England, but it was a long time ago, and she lived in Windsor.

Why does it have to be a young widow? How about a 50 year old widow? We may be older, but we ain't dead, Sugar. ;)
