Here I am in NYC. I can eat any type of food you can imagine. At some of the best restaurants in the world or at some of the most low down dives you can imagine. So what should it be? Chinese? Vietnamese? Sushi? Pizza?

And... should I even attempt to fight my way through the crowd surrounding my hotel to go out to eat or should I just order room service?

Or... should I stick to my diet, go work out for an hour, then eat an apple?

I'm going to be mean. Stick to your diet. But if it were me, I'd order room service. No way would I venture out in that insanity. But I'm a hermit, so...

I wouldn't fight the mob outside..order in room service and enjoy something fat ladden..then you can work out all next week and eat as many apples as you desire!

Ah April - my Whiskey buddy. I've actually already broke my diet with a Maker's Mark - picked up a bottle around the corner. Which kind of means I might as well go all the way, doesn't it? *lol*

Besides - I'm feeling like treating myself considering what I've been dealing with the last couple of days.

Mona - thanks - want to join me? *lol*

WhatsHerName - that's what I'm leaning toward but I had room service last night. I'm thinking of sticking to the Maker's Mark and an apple for a while then maybe going out to a late dinner when this ends. As far as the next two weeks go - I'm travelling the whole time - first South, then West... so its all pretty much downhill from here.

E-eyed - Make Pork Chops.

Mmmmm, Makers. :D

My choice then, would be a delicious steak served with a generous glass of Makers. Baked potato, of course. With sour cream. And chocolate ice cream for dessert.

Steak and bourbon. I could faint.

Well if you ever travel to Washington State I would be more than happy to make you a home cooked meal.

Yes April - I'm leaning toward Steak - I've already got the Maker's Mark - can order the steak from Room service and just pig out tonight as I read more documentation.

WHN - another one out in the boonies!

E-eyed - NY does make the best Pizza. I had a slice of Ray's Famous Pizza less than a 1/2 hour after checking into the hotel the other day.

Makers Mark?...... there be an empty shot glass here, care to fill it?

If you be in the greatest of towns for culinary exploration... how's about some Chicken parmesiana(SP?)......a little linguini on the side, toss up a Ceasar salad with lots of freshly grated cheese..... add in a veggie lovers stromboli and finish it all off with a canoli that can only be found in NYC?

Sounds like a dayumn fantastic meal to me!

BTW April - next Wednesday Me and the Muppet Man are going to get ourselves that limited edition bottle of Maker's Mark with the Red, White and Blue wax seal and raise a few toasts...

My choice is either Chinese or Sushi.
Go out to eat. A night on the town in NYC should be interesting as always.

OK now try the eggrolls

They have this eggroll that you wrap with luttuce and sprouts, and dip into a fish sauce.
I dont know what they are called, but they are fantastic! All i know is they are vietnamese.

I've had that before - both here in NYC and in Washington DC - its EXCELLENT.

I also love Pho!

Order in and watch some porn on the telly.

Then hop in a car and drive over to Jersey and bring me something to drink. ;)

Fight the crowd! It's part of the NYC experience! Eat street!

Street food? Dirt dogs? Hmmm...

I know the NYC experience very well - I used to live here. However, crowded as the city is, a free concert in Times Square is not a regular occurance...
