lol, I was in Canada over the Summer. And damned if it wasn't hotter there than it ever gets here. Though somehow the sun didn't seem as fierce, even though the temp was higher. Go figure.

I hear you - the first time I was ever uncomfortable in the sun was in the south of France - for some reason, I didn't think it would be hotter than California!

I used to sunbath for an hour no worries in 35C sun in Vancouver. If I went out for 20 mins in 23C sun here in NZ, I'd be fried to a crisp.
