That was a made-up hoax, meant to make Christians feel persecuted, out of a need for attention.
 
Locally, except in very specialist stores, it is impossible to buy anything related to the Christian Christmas - Penguins, stars, icicles, deer, even Homer Simpson? Yes.

But Jesus and the nativity? No.

Even a sign saying Christmas instead of Season's Greetings? - Very hard to find.

This is the real war on Christmas, with those who would turn it into what you describe, not with those who would do away with it entirely.

You need to listen to better Christmas music. I can't do anything about the people and commercialism excet to avoid them.
 
I respect the religious aspect of Christmas but everything else about it in our culture, the present buying, the work parties and family get-togethers, the awful songs, etc etc, can all FUCK OFF, I've had it.

Excellent choices, Ogg. I consider "The Messiah" a pinnacle of Western Civilization, and no Christmas passes without playing it several times.
