This thread is about the war for power between the humans, vampires, and lycan (warewolves). Anyone is welcome to join but please note that I do not wish to have to much blood shead and that for the first few posts I do not wish to have the introduction of sex yet. Taybor is pretty much a baby that is learning everything over again and I would like to get the ball rolling before the introduction of the kinky stuff is brought in. The time frame that we are in is 1935.
Thank You Very Much

I am new to this so please bare with me.

OOC:
Name: Taybor
Age: 498 but looks 24
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 175 (all muscle)
Hair: Chestnut Brown ( Long down past her ass)
Eyes: Violet (When trasformed they are Cobalt Blue)

IC:

Taybor had be an abombmination to her people. Her mother who was to become a priestess gave all of that up to have one night with a vampyre the first of the vampire kind. Because her mother and the vampyre were in love he did not kill or change her. All he did was to meet her in secret and make love to her. Taybor's mother was a very powerful woman and because of this she was able to give birth to Taybor but when the people of her mother's villiage found out what Taybor's mother had done they condimed her to hell. Praying that it would take her evil child with her. But it did not.

Taybor's father had been there. He had taken Taybor before the people had started the ceromony to kill her mother. He promtly left with her in his arms, he took her back to his home. Made sure that all of his people knew that she was his daughter and that nothing bad was to happen to what so ever.

When Taybor turned 24 she stopped aging and with that realized what she was. As did the rest of her fathers people. She was the key to killing all of the misticale creatures that lived all around them. When that knowledge spread Taybor was no longer safe, she and her father knew this so he packed up all of her things and hide her away from everyone and everything so that he could teach her how to use her powers and how to control them.
After 469 years of teaching her he knew that she was ready to face the world again.

And that is were our story begins. With Taybor's rebirth into the world of mistical creatures and humans.

One question, what time frame is this in, the present?

I will play Colstan, a character I created for the Masquerade a while ago, though modified.

He is a human, from Africa. He is a priest of the Kaballa, which makes him a Rabbi technically. He has great wisdom and courage with his people. He is strong in the ancient faith and it has guided him well. He knows well of the creatures that swell in the night and has made a vow to destroy them, and protect his fellow man. Armed with what little he knows about them, holy water, and his faith, he strikes out to protect the innocent.

Intro

Name - Goaran
Age - Unkown and unable to tell
Background - Goaran was turned. He wasnt turned by vampire or lychen though. He was turned by a sorceror. He was turned into what he was today, and abomination.

Along time in the past an evil, Shabby but talented sorceror/scientist was analysing dna and molecule structures and realised that molecules from different organisms and substances could be moulded on to human dna using the immense powers he possesed. He had many subjects and Goaran was one of them.

Goarans DNA had be intruded by oil. He was used to steal and burgle the houses of the city to fund his masters research, he was trying to create the perfect soldier. Goaran assumed the position of theif for a while, he was good at it. His viscous liquid state allowed him to pass through almost any opening and he could munipulate the viscosity of his being in order to hold things or walk and stand and take the shape of a human. though he could assume the form of a human he still looked and felt just as Oil would. For a while he was content until he realised he did not like to be controlled.

That very night He suffocated his creator, sliding his liquid form down into his lungs, drowning him. He let the monstrous beings go and fled the city. He moved silently from town to town, stealing what he could in order to make enough money to find a way to turn himself back. Secretely he knew there was no way back.

Taybor knew not where her father had left her. All she knew was she was in some sort of cave that was about ten miles from a very small town. That was about five years ago. She had not ventured out of that cave like her father had told her to do.

You see Taybor was not like most vampyr that people talk about, her mother was a priestess and the power that her mother had pasted all of her power to Taybor. And with that power it was possible for Taybor to walk out in the sun light with no problems at all. Taybor knew about all of her powers but she did not feel safe to use them. Because before her father left he had warned her that if she were to use her powers to much the hunters would be after her. And that she did not want at all.

Taybor was starting to get very hungry. She knew that she needed blood but she would not kill a human, she just couldn't because every time that she did she got some kind of flash back into that persons life and it was always some sad sad moment and Taybor could not deal with that anymore. If felt like it was her that this moment was happening to and that almost killed her the last time she killed a human.

So Taybor stuck to killing the evil creatures that we hunting her or that were hunting humans. She figured if she did that then there would be less creatures to hunt her when she finally did decide to use her powers and to venture out of her cave. Taybor could and would survive on animals or other things until these bastards would come for her and she knew that they would come for her. They always did.

While Taybor was in her trance of thought. Some traveler was coming closer to her cave. And the closer that they got the more they could sence that someone unnatural was in there. But they were not afraid of the sort of thing. Because they had been used to that sort of thing all of their lives. All of the sudden Taybor realized what was happening outside of her cave and she could sence that this person was not the type that was hunting her. But she had to be careful of them even thought they were almost innocent. So Taybor grabbed her things and moved to the far back of the cave. And waited to see what this new comer would do.

Name: Jade
Age: 200, but looks 22
Height: 5' 5
Weight: 130lbs
Hair: Jet Black hair (Down to the middle of her back)
Eyes: Blue when calm, but they turn red when she gets angry

Jade's mother was a slave and her father, the slave owner. It was whispered that he fathered this child, and it was confirmed with her birth. With eyes like the sea, hair dark as a raven, and skin like mocha she was a thing of beauty. Her father, knowing that she would be lusted after, taught her to fight, while her mother taught her how to conjure. Nothing they taught her prepared her for the one that turned her. He took her swiftly and promised her eternal life. 200 years later, alone she walked through the streets, trying to keep to herself. This was not the time for a single woman, especially a woman of color, to walk alone. She stopped by the entrance to an alley. Something was lurking inside of it and whatever it was, it was not human. It was nothing she had ever felt before. She knew her kind by smell and this was not a vampire. Whatever it was, it was lonely. She entered the alley, unsure of what she would encounter...

Name: Gisela
age: mid-twenties
looks: flaxen colored hair, long, inbetween shoulder and middle of her back
eyes: blue, and turn an icey blue when in wolf form
species: lycan
physical description: human- she is slim, althetic, everything her 'fatherland' would come to admire and expect of all of it's young people in Germany. She is also stylish, dressing in the latest fashions. Lycan - she is truly beautiful in wolf form, with her lycan self being much more wolf like than human like. Her pelt is golden in color and her eyes are an icey blue.

background:

Gisela was born in the German countryside. Most of her childhood was normal, growing up with her sisters and parents, and the various things that girls grow up with...dolls, ponies, etc. Her mother was old German...and aristocratic to the core, even though she was a farmers wife. So Gisela grew up learning all the dainty manners in life.....

It happened one summer when her father had taken in a vagrant as a farm laborer. Something had been wrong with the man, but he was friendly, and a good worker. So Gisela, at twelve years of age, had made friends with him. Then, during an event that is still not talked about, he had gone mad one night, during an evening when Gisela had brought him dinner that her mother had made. She was terrified, because she had thought he was half wolf....but the attack was over in a moment, and the man had ran off..leaving a large bite mark on her shoulder.

The infection had taken place in the next week. She had fevers, chills, every symptom imaginable, but no docter could cure her. Eventually the infection went away and she could lead a normal life again...or so she thought. It had happened at first, as the legends go, with the full moon. Then, as she got older she learned how to control it better, so that she could move inbetween forms at will.

For a long time she tried to hide it. It appalled her. It went against everything she knew. However, as she grew older it became a part of her, a sickness that she would have to live with. For as long as she lived...for she didn't know if lycans aged the same or not. Perhaps it didn't matter

Colstan wasted no time on the sage under his foot. The beaten path had long since grown over, leaving nothing left but the faintest whisp of a trail. This bounded up and down the hill like some senseless animal on an outing for food. It ran up here, down there, almost circling back and then pushing on straight forward before curving once more.

He could almost smell it now, in the air. Dry and musty, like the smell of aged leather. It wasn't the smell of death. He had made that discovery years ago, knowing the stench of death as it crawled its way through his senses, burrowing deeper inside him. No, that smell was unmistakable.

If anything, he would say it was the smell of something death-like. A sweet overscent with something rotten underneath. The way a fruit would smell just as it spoiled on the counter. It still looked good, healthy and edible, but the stench was too sweet, too acidic to be anything more than rotten.

He had made that link a long time ago. They were just like rotten fruit inside. These fallen ones had long since left their human forms and transformed into that of rotten fruit. They were brown and bruised on the inside, slowly decaying, only their outside still made them presentable, still showed them the husk of a human.

He stood on the watery edge of the trail, glancing up at a cave entrance. Something struck him as odd at this. He knew undoubtably that someone was in there. Someone that had fallen and now needed his guidance to go to the other side. He would provide that guidance, yes he would.

But, he didn't understand why the thing inside didn't move. It should know he was here by now, should know that he came to kill it. These beasts were nothing if not vain in their own attempt at survival. He had fought too many of them to know this for a fact. None of them preferred death, or wished for it. Quite the opposite, they thought themselves immortal, even as he gave them the killing blow.

He paused, at the entrance, looking into the pitch darkness inside.

Something urged him to speak, even though every instinct told him not too.

"Hello," He said, a cross outstretched, walking inside the cave, "Who are you?"

She heard the man speak:

"Hello"
"Who are you?"

Taybor would not answer she could not. She was trying to see if she had at first been right about this man. Did he plan on doing her harm or was he looking for someone else.

When he walked into the cave she could tell that he had the power to kill her even thought she was who she was. But she also knew that he could in a way smell her half that was evil. But he would not kill her, even if she had to kill him she would not kill her. That she knew she had to many things to be done and to many vampyr to kill.

So she answered him with the only thing that she could. She soundlessly put down her things and got her body ready for the attack. Taybor crouched down and then flew threw the air right at him. She could tell that he did not expect her to do this move so soon. But thats what she was good at.

As she flew over him she grabbed him a flung him backwards. Taybor came down and then started to say the spell to paralize him for as long as she wished him to be. She was almost done when she was hit by some form of magic or maybe something else. She did not know what it was but she knew she did not like it.

Taybor stood back up and without thinking said the one spell that she knew would but him on his ass and keep him there.

"Eldar Mornara Kapnercas Helnomala"

Once she had said it he was flung across the the hill. Not to nicely either. From the looks of him he was out cold. But she was not going to make the mistake of going close to him. She then said her paralizing spell.

"Tricnarcais Plandovalis Redamoana Unramoca Hietormanas Valimansca Emotalinavina Samonaicalassa FRETOMALIA"

Gisela stepped out of the cab that had taken her to this new city. Her seemingly appraised the city as she she paid the man, but on the inside she didn't care. It was just another city. Another city that didn't know what she was on the inside.

Her heels made clicking sounds on the pavement as she walked on the sidewalk.

He didn't feel cold, although he should have. He should have been consumed by nothing more than cold and warped wires running around his skin, binding him like living ropes grasping his flesh. His rage stopped that cold though, prevented it from moving any further, and kept it at his surface.

He could not move though, that was an impossibility. Every inch of him just closedin on itself, paralyzing him to no end. He could feel his lungs moving in and out, breathing himself, capturing and collecting the air around him, but nothing else. He could not even blink, his eyes staring at her, glazed in darkness and rage under him.

He could not move though, he was paralyzed, and he could feel that it was her spell, making him stay here with her. Colstan stood there, watching her move closer, desperately trying to get his rebellious body to get off from the spell.

He could not though. He was frozen, heating up under his skin, sweat pouring off him as he watched the vampire move closer. A low growl started in his throat, but could not finish because he could not move his vocal cords enough. Instead, he just stood there...

Waiting.

Taybor watched as the man fought to free himself and then realize that he could not do so. She took great pride in her abilities as a sorcerous. But she knew that she must ask this man what it was that he would prefer. Death or Join her in her fight.

She walked slowly over to him. Got about an inch away from him and asked her question.

"Sir I will only ask this once and it is your choice. I am about to give you two choices and you my pick which ever one you want. Do you wish to join me in my quest to kill my kind, or do wish to die right here and now? I will also tell you this if you join me there will be no trying to attack me in my sleep. No backing off from a fight so that I my be killed. Because I am a very different vampyr I truly can not die. Not even by your hand. The only one who can kill me is the woman who gave birth to me."

"I will give you time to think this over and which ever you choose just know this that I am not like the other vampyr's I do not kill humans for food, I kill animals because that is what my father thought me to do."

So with that said Taybor sat down in front of him on a small boulder and waited for his answer............................

Jade stopped walking down the alley when she heard the sound of heels hitting pavement. This was even more interesting than the thing in front of her. She walked back to the entrance to see a woman with blue eyes and long hair step onto the sidewalk. This was interesting indeed, because although the woman was beautiful and she was dressed in the latest style, her smell was that of the countryside. Jade sniffed the air. There was the usual smells of the city, dirt, smoke, the various scents from the restaurants in the area, and then there was the smell of sweat and fur. There was no doubt in Jade’s mind where the scent was coming from; her only question was why a lycan would travel so far from its home. The woman stopped appraising her surroundings and looked at Jade. Jade smiled and bade her welcome…

Gisela saw the woman emerge from the alley. She didn't know what was more suprising...that she was a woman of color...or that there was something different about her.

She knew that there were other creatures out there, that her affliction wasn't the only one possible. No, she had an open mind when it came to others. She was also highly aware of animosity between the afflictions.

"Good Day."

Jade was shocked. The woman had actually responded. She was shocked momentarily, but she smiled to hide it. “Hello. You seem new to the city. Do you need some help getting somewhere? It really isn’t safe for a woman to be out alone this time of night.” As she spoke Jade walked up to stand next to the woman. She looked here over, admiring her clothes and her shoes. When she looked up, she noticed that the woman was doing the same. The woman smiled, and Jade took the opportunity to say, “It isn’t safe. Even for those of us who are different.”

Gisela stepped back a step as this new one approached her. You could never be too cautious.

"I am not lost. And I am skilled enough to protect myself."

She did rather like the fashion of the colored woman, but she wouldn't let that distract her.

"And you? What is a lady like you doing on the streets now?"

Gisela spoke with her german accent only lightly affecting her pronounciation. She chose to ignore the little side comment about being different. She wasn't willing to give up secrets quite so quickly.

“I have no doubt that you can protect yourself. But there are things that go bump in the night.” Jade noted the step back the woman took, would not let that deter her. “I was on my way home. I stopped for a moment to see what the market had that I could use for dinner.” She lifted her right hand, showing the woman the bag from Tony’s Market. “Your accent…It’s familiar. You are not American. I should have known. An American woman would not have stopped to speak. She would consider me beneath her. Well, wherever you are from, welcome to America.” With that said, Jade began to walk away from the woman, back towards the alley. Whatever was in there, she was determined to deal with it. The Lycan woman will soon learn the ways of the city…

name: marty
age: 41, but looks 23
description: 5'7", 290 pounds and bald

background:marty is a human that's led a relatively sheltered life. at the age of 41 he is finally starting to take some steps out into the world. he's also aware that things aren't exactly as they seem. he's noticed that some people appear to be..... more. they walk and talk as humans, but there is another side to them....ethereal, wild. he finds himself drawn to that wildness, particularly in the women.

marty stood partially hidden in a doorway, watching the encounter between the two women. he couldn't hear what they were saying, could only tell that they were sizing each other up.

The more the marrier. Well just come all into my realm. Yes. That’s it, fat man. Take cover. Listen. You don’t know what these women are, do you? They are your death, and you don’t even know it. They’ld kill me , too. If I give ‘em the chance. At least the dark one would. Not sure about the pale she wolf. Maybe I can trick her. By disguising myself. Become a wolf maybe. Thanks to you there’s plenty of meat to go around…. so, maybe….no, she’ld probably smell the difference. And I don’t want to fight all of you.

Human. Safest form. And I have to get into the light. My trap has turned on me. No witnesses means I’m dead.

Small steps. Toward the light.Grab garbage, and rub it on you, stupid. The she wolf will smell you.

The fat one is no normal mortal, either. Enlightened. He’ll also know I’m differnet. My damned luck. There must be a convention in town.

Change of plans. A cigarette. A conversation. Bonding. Hitting on a couple of gals, as they call it. Yeees.

There, he sees me now.

“Hi budy. You got a smoke for a fella down on his luck?”

OC:
Meet Xyphin. Or as he ‘ll introduce himself : Cracker Jack. (That’s from the box he saw in the trash on his way out of the shadows)

Apearent age: 35; real age: it doesn’t know. Nor care.
Sex: male, right now
Appearance: 5’11’ normal build. Dressed in dirty post opression clothes. Brown hair, brown eyes. Handsome in a plain sort of way. And doesn’t smell. At all.

Species: Chimera. (Total shapechanger). Feeds on humans, and almost everything else. Physically strong, but inferior to vampires and especially lycans.

Gisela watched the woman walk away. she found the woman rather chatty, something she herself wasn't right away in a new city.

America. The Land of the Free.

She had come here not to escape the possibility of war from the new popular man named Hitler, but to escape his future scientists. She was afraid of , for she had heard from those around him of his ambitions. Perhaps she would go back if it proved to be different. But for now she was just a visitor to America.

Danger.

The alleyway held danger, she was sure of it. But the colored woman was no mere mortal, and Gisela was sure that she could take care of herself.

She continued on the sidewalk, her heels of her shoes clicking. Soon, hopefully she would find the hotel she had booked accomodations with. She noticed a man in a doorway. But he was just a man. No hidden trigger or scent that would send her lycan instincts into overdrive.

She dared to give him a smile as she passed.

She saw it come out of hiding. A dirty man. Handsome in a way. But something about him wasn’t right. The way he walked did not coincide with his appearance. He walked like a man who was sure of himself. She heard the woman continue to walk down the street. She turned just in time to see her smile at a man standing in a doorway. When she turned to continue looking at the dirty man, he was no longer standing there. She heard him speak and it sent a chill down her spine…

The bald human does not respond. But the dark female does. The she wolf turned away, out of sight. But she’s still close.

Is this a chance? Can I take the dark skinned one ? I’m tempted.
But, no. Not in an open fight.

Her eyes. For a moment they light up in the dark.
Oh, shit.
And all I wanted was to apease this hunger in me.

Change of plans. Again.

How to adress this one? Dark skin means less worth, here. It’s stupid, really, it all tastes the same.
But I’m dirty. Low myself.
Bond. Talk. And try to get into the murky lights. The streets beyond are broader. If she attacks, I can evade, I’m sure. I hope.

“Good evening, miss. I’m sorry to bother you, but I think I’m lost. Some hoodlums roughed me up good. I woke up back there, and I don’t know …. I don’t know what I should do now.”

And I’m not lying about the last part.
Her eyes gleam again. For a split second, no more. But I see it nevertheless.
Turn sideways. Maybe she gets ready… so you better do, too.

“But I’m sorry, I haven’t introduced myself . I’m Jack… Cracker. But most call me Cracker Jack. ”

Did she smile? … Keep talking, stupid.

“I heard you and the other lady talking, when I came to. And …. I. I didn’t know where else to turn.”

Cracker Jack...He really must think that I am stupid. "It is nice to meet you Cracker Jack. I'm sorry to say that I cannot help you. You might have more luck at the police station down the street." The man smiled and Jade felt sick to her stomach. She really wanted to kill him, but she couldn't. Not in the open and not with the man in the shadows watching...

What is this? Something is not as it should be. This dark skinned predator is restraining herself.

Now that I am close I can smell her. Undead. But not only that. Something else…. Unknown to me. Somewat akin to that fat man still watching us, over yonder. That one still needs to be looked after. His coat could hide one of these projectile weapons. Guns. They hurt. I still remember being hurt by those. Which is intersting of itself, since I do not remember much. I remember a thing called a “Tommy Gun” which nearly ended my existance with dozens of these projectiles.

The dark skinned undead is also looking at the man.
And she talks about police. I know she means the guardians of the flock. Those that look alike ….and have guns.

“Thank you, miss. The police is over yonder?” In the direction she indicated I can still see the she wolf. A couple of hundred steps away perhaps. Is this some trap?
But this can not be. Some knowledge that was not there a minute ago suddenly appears in my head. The women should be natural enemys! This could be important. But it could also mean nothing. Do these creatures feed of one another?

“ I wish you a pleasant night. Sorry, if I startled you. It… it was a rough day.” Words come easy to my mouth. I do not wonder why, they just do. Comes with the body, maybe, though I doubt it. Humans speek differently all over this place. The yellow ones, the pale ones, the dark ones… and I understand them all –and I can speak with all. Though I seldom need to.

Now comes the hard part. Turn your back to her. It. Whatever. Huntress. … and start walking.

Attention

Okay People I have started an OCC. So that all of you could type your characters in there and then I could let you know what I wanted and now this thread has become a free for all and that is not what I want. I am going to have to start a new thread now because I can't stand to have everything as a mish mash.

So the only way that you will be allowed into the new thread is if you message me and allow me to tell you what I wish for this thread to become.

Thank you and good bye.

Posted in OCC. Perhaps in the future you should define your rules a bit clearer.
Not everybody is a native speaker.

Good luck. I wish that this thread will become "what I wish for this thread to become".

Tricon.
