Alec stood there, his sword resting on his shoulder as he watched the sun slowly rise above the horizon. He had been travelling for days, looking for this large source of magic that he had felt. He had felt nothing like this and it scared him, more than he would like to admit. He closed his eyes and searched within himself a direction for this source and found to his surprise that it had moved closer to him.

He moved down the hill, towards the road and wondered what he was going to do when he found what he was searching for. Would he have to destroy it or would it destroy him. He knew that he wanted to lose this gift that he had but he did not want to lose it that way, he wanted to lose it but live the rest of his life.
He began to walk down the road, sliding his sword back into its sheath and said to himself, "Please let this thing help me."

He hoped that it would. He didn't want the life that he had, to have a life where he could control the very essence of magic and have more power than any person in this world only to give up his life to do so.

The Slik God slipped out quietly, as angry Slik foot soldiers stood before the castle, holding torches. Their new leader, dressed in all black stood before them, with a huge black sword. 10 of his most loyal Slayer Knights came with him. The others would pretend to be against him, but instead supply information. Slik had four sword strapped to his back. He pulled these calmly out and sped up into a run. They hit the forest just as the gates to his beautiful castle were razed. Slik took a final look, then ran into the forest, his normally green eyes shining blood red. After they ran 4 miles or so, Slik put his swords away and raised all four hands. A portal shimmered into existence. "Get in! Quick!" he ordered, then jumped in, his Slayers following. The portal closed just as a fireball turned that area into a smouldering crater. He emerged in Lokken's throne room, Lokken lounging, eating a small dinner. When he saw the Sliks, he jumped up, knocking the small table over and sending food all over the floor. "What the... ?" he asked. "We are from the glorious Slik nation. O, lord of Lordaeron, please help me. I have been de-throned by a powerful new evil", spoke Slik. "Uh. Firstly, I'm not Lord of Lordaeron. I'm emperor of Taros. Secondly, Belial must have sent you here. Thirdly, I'll be glad to help as soon as I can get some information on you. Like your names", replied Lokken. "I am the Slik God, king of the Sliks. These are my ten most loyal SLayer Knights", said Slik, bowing slightly. The portal suddenly snapped shut. Lokken's portal sorceror stepped into the throne room. "You called master?" he asked calmly. "Never... wait a minute. Open a portal. Belial shall send me to the dimension", said Lokken. the sorceror did so, and Lokken stepped in, followed by the Sliks.

Alec looked up in the sky as a loud scream exploded in his ears. "OH SHIT!!!" came Lokken's voice as he fell from over 230 feet above the ground. The Sliks screamed like crazy too. They still had a somewhat soft landing, however, as they landed in a small lake. They swam for shore and sat there clamly, drying off.

"Wakarue!" He had finally found it. The Chocobo falls! a village of chocobo's hidden somewhere in a forest, based around a waterfall. Cryo had been searching the world for a long time, taking up every lead he could, checking out every waterfall there was. and finally, he found his bretheren. The last natural breeding ground for Wild Chocobo's.

Cryo walked through, proud of himself. The other chocobo saw nothing unusual about a black coming in out of nowhere. So long as it's a chocobo, it's a friend.

The waterfall fell into a small lake. Young chocobo's, with their undeveloped white feathers, played around in the shallow area's. Some blues raced each other up the falls. A red was sleeping under the Sun. Yellows trotted around the perimeter, just to keep fit. 2 Greens were latched onto the cliff wall, using beaks and claws to dig out a new cave.

2 whites flew past Cryo's head, playing in midair. 'they're going to grow up to be strong blacks' thought cryo to himself. After all, only black chocobo's can fly.

Cryo fit in easilly. Simply walking up, greeting himself and getting into the groove of things. Near dusk, a magnificent Gold appeared. With a loud voice, the gold announced the beginning of the Lunar festival. Indeed, tonight was a full moon. As the moon rose, all of the chocobo's gathered in a circle around the lake. THe blues formed a smaller one IN the lake, and the gold stood in the middle of them. $ white chocobo's appeared and began singing the Chocobo waltz. Though it had been many years, cryo still remembered the dance and spun and lept perfectly in synk with his bretheren.

Cryo had never seen an adult white before. He had heard stories about it. Rarer than even gold ones are chocobo's that don't gain color to their feathers during puberty. They were allways femail, and had wonderfull voices. The stories were true then, thought Cryo, listening to the wonderfull voices.

Later, after the dance, a feast was held, with greens from all over the forest gathered. Cryo introduced himself to the gold, and quickly became the center of attention as he told stories of his adventures.

Near dawn, everyone was asleap. everyone except for a cold black that is. While the populace slept in every odd position they couldmuster, Cryo sat atop the waterfall, watching as the dark blue sky slowly gradiented upward. A feeling of dred came over him. after finally finding the place he was searching for, he would be forced to leave again. Something bad was going down again, and He would be needed to help fix it.

HHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
It was long and loud, warning anyone who passed by the forest. Like a snake, poised, silently waiting for it's victim to just take one step closer. Right by the city, people feared that hiss. They would no travel on any road when they heard it. It was bad mojo.
Fear had gripped the heart of every man woman and child in the nearby cities. The forest of Agabar was haunted by a terrible hiss. To which there was no escape.
Men, some who were too young to be afraid, had gotten liquored up one night, and taken some weapons out to defeat this horrible thing that froze the heart of an entire countryside. They were never heard of again.
This, of course, was because the leader had led his party of drunken friends into a deep ravine, and no one had survived the fall. It had nothing to do with Alos.
Alos was a very kind and decent creature, wouldn't hurt a fly unless it was bothering him. Actually, he hurt a lot of things if they were bothering him, but if they kept their distance he did the same. The last thing this world needed was a fifteen foot dinosaur reaking havoc everywhere.
Too many arrogent assholes doing that already.
Alos decided sleep was more important. He slept, quite a lot actually. From dusk till dawn. Sleep was so good, but it had a bad side effect. Something like snoring, but it was a hissing.
Since, he slept near the mouth of a cave, and his nasal cavity was as big as a human's head, it produced a rather large sound.

Another mystery solved. The deadly hissing of the Agabar countryside was simply a huge dinosaur sleeping.
Although, absolutely no one knew, and they continued not to know. The fact that something was out there big enough to make that sound was just as well.
So, they stayed afraid, and he stayed asleep.

OOC; Ouch! nightray! your worse than Rayv! is it humanly possible to spell that badly? I mean comeon. if you can read, then you should be able to spell. I know I can't read your spelling. I don't mean to sound harsh but please. use a spell checker once in a while.

Lalita stood on the road gazing at the sunrise. The warmth of the sun covered her body and she smiled. She loved sunrises they were so beautiful. She sensed someone else, an emotion of confusion drifted her way. Faint but still close. Turning towards the source she saw a man standing atop a hill gazing at the sunrise as well. Curiously she stared wondering who this man might be. Lalita was curious by nature. She loved meeting new people but her curiousity often got her in trouble. Once again she ignored her sense of reason and headed in the direction of the man.

Alec ran towards where the he sensed the large source of magic, his sword drawn. This power was unlike anything he had ever felt before and he knew that if it was this powerful then it could help him. He ran until he came across a large lake and in the center of the lake was the bobbing forms of a man and a creature he had never seen the likes of before.

Suddenly Alec was bombarded by a shock of magical force that it almost threw him off his feet and onto the ground. He stood there, unable to think of what to do but he knew that he had to do something and called out, "Hello there, is there anything that I can do to help you!"

Lalita was surprised when the man suddenly took off running in the direction of the lake. Scowling she gave into impulse and took off after determined to find out who this man was.

Cryo-Chocobo Falls

A yellow came storming into the village. His breath was out, and he was hurt from dashing through the bushes and trees. He collapsed on the edge of the pond. A yellow who was nereby quickly cast Choco-Cure on him, while Cryo and the gold flew over.

The gold asked what happened. the yellow, after gaining it's breath, said; "Wakarue Wakarue WARK Wa Waka WARK! Qwe, qwe WARK Wakarue!" (Help! people (Litterally- Non Chocobo's) are approachng our home. From the Lake! they seem powerfull! 2 of them!"

the yellow's tired grammer was bad, but they got the gist of it. the gold called for a gathering. When everyone was gathered, he announced that a war party was needed, that their home would soon be discovered, and they needed to defend themselves.

cryo inturrupted. He asked to be allowed to try and take care of the intruiders himself. His experience would not only stop the intruiders, but keep the location of their home secret. The gold agreed.

Her name was Suzie.
Six year old Suzie. Perfect, sweet, young, and innocent. Absolutely everything a parent wanted in a daughter. She screamed cuteness, right down to the double pigtails, which were tied together with a pink ribbon.
She had been told of the hiss. When it hissed, do not go out and play. Something evil was in the forest. An evil thing that ate little girls for breakfast. She had heard all of the stories, but that didn't change the fact that someone had taken Dollie.
Dollie was hanging on a branch, right next to a rather large cave. Suzie had been playing there earlier, thinking of the fable she had just heard from her friend. It was of a prince who had turned into a frog. The princess was going to have to kiss him to turn him back into a prince so they could live happily ever after.
Doll was the princess, and she had just caught a frog to play the prince. Being only six, she still had not found out that frogs were not proper for a lady to play with. With a frog and the doll in hand, she suddenly spotted a huge butterfly. Her eyes focused on the beauty, watching as it played with the light like a wood nymph.
She was up, following it all the way back to her small farm. Just as she was about to catch it, the butterfly flew up to the sun. She saw it's shadow for only a moment, and then it was gone.
Which brought us up to her present dilemma. An innocent frog and a princess doll are out in the forest unprotected from the horrible hiss.
She ran back down the trail, not caring about the present predicament. The hissing grew louder and louder as she made it to that fateful grove. Her doll, and a small slime trail leading back to the creek were right beside the open cave.
Grabbing it, Suzie hugged the doll tightly. Fear and terror gripped her heat, but a sense of hope and love was there too. The emotions running through her were the same ones she would feel when she first gave birth. Her newborn out in the open, so helpless and alone. She would hold the tiny baby in her arms, carress it, and promise never to let any harm come to it.
She hugged that doll warmly.
Something warm blew across her tiny frame. Her eyes grew wide as she looked inside the cave, seeing a huddled figure. It drew in breath, and her hair moved slightly bacause of it. Then, a huge warm kiss touched her body again. It tickled her nose. She giggled slightly.
Unafraid, she walked up to the front of the cave, looking inside. It was a dragon. A huge red dragon, sleeping at the front of the cave. She hadn't even been aware of the hissing. Now, inside the cave, it echoed horribly. She covered her ears, looking at the dormant monster.
A dragon meant a princess. There was a princess behind this scaly guardian. Quickly, she went to work, running to the far side, not finding enough room to run through. She began climbing up the animal, first a rather large thigh, and then the enormous tail.
Alos looked up aware of something distracting his humble sleep. He turned his neck, craning to see the tiny girl, trying so hard to get past him.
"May I help you?" he asked in a calm manner, looking at her like she was the one who was out of place. She stopped dead in her tracks.
Far away, Suzie's mother heard the hissing finally stop. She was so happy. Outside, she began calling Suzie that supper was ready. Finding nothing she checked the barn. There, on the far side of the barn was something pink wafting in the wind.
She went closer, and tears filled up in her eyes.
It was a pink ribbon.

"Yes. Point us in the directio of the nearest village", said Lokken, whose magic drew everyone like a magnet. He waved a hand, and a roaring inferno sprang out of the ground. He stepped inside of it and seemed to drow power form it. The Sliks stpped out of the lake. "There isss sssomething ssstrange about your power sssignature", hissed Slik.

Alec looked at the newcomers that were still in the lake and felt as though he was being over whelmed by the magical energy that was flowing from the tall man. He took a large gulp of air before finally saying, "Oh yes, the nearest village. It is over that way." He pointed to the north. "It is not very big but I doubt if anyone will look at you twice. They all seem to have their own problems to worry about."

He then looked at the lizard like creature with a curious look written on his face, "What do you mean my power signature seems strange?"

I whoch as the pepil tolk but from thes distins I can't her them so I thern in to a black panther and I clime down the tree I slink closer staying in the shadows. I close inuf to her them speek clerly I can also sens that they arn't evil. But I do not now how they would take a vampire yet evin a good one like myself.

Lalita stopped at the lake her eyes widening as she saw an enormous pillar of fire and a man standing within. She stood speechless for many moments before remembering her objective. Turning to the man who also stood staring in wonder at the pillar she smiled. "Hey you I've been chasing you for a while. I'm Lalita and you are?" she then turned to the man in the pillar. "You look familiar but I don't know who you are or at least I don't remember" shrugging she awaited their answers.

Alec turned and looked at the woman, not knowing what to make out of this. One minute he was standing on a hill looking out at the setting sun and wondering how he was going to live his life with this curse that he had and then suddenly he was talking to two beings whose magical energy he felt like a wave washing over him. Now there was this woman who said she had been following him, but for what purpose. "I am Alec. I just have one question to ask, why have you been following me?"

"No, no, not again!!"
Suzie screamed as Alos attacked again. His nails were the perfect touch, that when they grazed her skin just so they were the most ticklish thing in the world. Worse than a feather. Her scream turned into fits of laughter as she rolled from side to side. Alos tickled her, a small smile crossing his lips.
He stopped, raising his claw above her. It was dangling inches from her. She looked at it with fear excitement, but more importantly love. He let it hover above her waiting body, before tickling her again. She screamed, this time though, something else followed her.
Another scream. This one not of love and fun, but of sheer terror. Alos turned, confused as to what had happened. A woman was pointing at him, with two men behind him. They both had pitchforks, and were running towards him.
"Get off my daughter you beast!"
Alos jumped up, running back a few steps.
"Wait, stop. I was only playing..."
"It can talk," the mother barely whispered, running towards her now very confused daughter. Suzie didn't understand what was going on at all.
"Mommy, Alos and I were playing tickle torture. It's so much fun, better than Daddy. Can he stay with us?"
"SSssshhhh, baby, it's ok. That thing won't touch you anymore."
Alos kept walking back, but the two men with weapons were rushing at him. He wasn't sure what to do, he didn't want to hurt them. It was either that or running though.
Hell, he didn't even know where he was now. What would be the point in running away?
"Listen, this is just a huge misunderst..."
A pitchfork flew in the air. Fast as the wind, he caught it, breaking it in two. The other one reached him, shooting the pitchfork right at him. Alos dodged it, biting off the metal part easily.
"Now come on. We can talk about this can't we? I didn't hurt your daughter, and I had no desire to..."
"RUN!"
They all ran, except for Suzie, who wanted to stay so badly. Her mother picked her up though, running back to the house. Alos shook his head, watching them run. Such a strange species. Dinosaurs really were more inteligent. Proof in point.
Sighing, he went back into his cave. He wasn't aware of how much trouble he was in...
They would be back, with more than pitchforks.

"Most undoubtedly. I am Lokken, Emperor of Taros. You probably don't know me as I am over 5,000 years old and this is my first visit to this dimension. This is Slik, who was king of the Slik nation before he was dethroned by an evil power. Don't know who yet, but I plan to kill him", said Lokken.

Slik turned to Alec. "Your power isss not wither assss ssssstrong or asssss sssstraightforward asssss Lokken'sssss, if you will", he answered.

Alec turned and looked at Lokken and Slik and said, "Okay. Now would you please give me an answer that I can understand. I know that I have the power to use and control the very essence of magic but what does that have to do with me?"

He knew then that this was not the way to go about a first meeting with two people obviously as strong as they were but he needed some answers. He hoped that there was one thing that these two could do and that was strip him of his curse.

"Isssss it not obviousssss?" asked Slik. "You can ssssstop a mage or warrior ssssimply by thinking it. You are a rare mage indeed. You are what hassss been termed assss pssssychic mage. Thessssse can, with training, do anything. Thessssse are the only magesssss capable of creating new magic. Alsssssso, they are able to permanently drain a mage'ssssss mana, cutting off hissss link with the magic. I believe Lokken isssss one of thesssse", he continued. Lokken tipped his head in acnowledgement.

Lalita looked confused. "I am following you because you look interesting as for you" she frowned "Taros? Where have I.. oh I know! Your that guy that my friend always talks about!" she jumped excitedly "and here I thought she was only telling stories. She has just escaped from prison and I figured you know.. she had lost her mind. Guess not" she smiled "Now what was her name..." shrugging she looked from one man to another as they all looked at her as if she had grown a second head. "What?"

Alec looked at the woman, unable to say anything. He really didn't know what to say, if anything- he had been told that he was one of a powerful breed of mages and that he could do anything if he tried. Then this woman had come up to him and told him that he was interesting and then gone through a conversation with herself. He didn't know what the look on his face was but he had the feeling it was the look of astonishment.
"Okay, there is only one question that I have to ask. I know that you have been dethroned but what is it exactly that you are doing here. I am not being rude or anything by asking this, just very curious."

"Well, to put it quite simply, that bastard of a sorceror transported us to the extremely wrong spot. All's we need is an army, and then we can go kill that idiot", said Lokken casually, a little battle light slipping subtely into his eyes.

"I would like to join you. I have to find some way to control this power that is surging through my body and threatening to destroy me at the same time. Can you help me, teach me to use this so that it does not kill me at the same time?"

Alec stood there and hoped that Lokken or Slik would say yes. He needed to control his gift of his or be destroyed by it.
