The Wacky Question For Those Writing Erotica...

When I have something submitted I'm hoping to get comments like that. It would tell me that they enjoyed what I wrote.

t doesn't strike me as unusual or weird that some people get off reading porn/erotica. I've received comments from people who say they got off while reading my stories and others that say they found my writing arousing. I take it as a compliment that I in some way brightened their day (or night).

As a writer of porn/erotica, I personally think that arousal and/or orgasm is worth 100x the number of 'stars' the story gets. That's a big reason for why I write.

My stories are porn, so the end result I hope for is for those reading to be as turned on as I was while writing it, if not more. The more "'O' face" results j get, the better I think I did.

For example, one sexy lady told me that after readings few select stories, not only were her panties wet, but the chair she was sitting on was soaked. Boom I succeeded in my job to excite the reader. She was about as happy as I was, so I count that as a win.

Has someone left a comment on one of your erotic stories or PM'd you and told you they got off on the erotic scenes you wrote into one of your stories?

Would you find it odd if they told you? Or, do you just assume some people do it?

I'm a married female in her 30's, currently on anti-depressants that made my sex drive go fron 55mph to maybe 5 at best. (With my husband using every trick in the book--so to speak--at once).
That was well written, imaginative, and sexy. Plus, I think someone just FLOORED the gas pedal to the metal. Thanks. I needed that. Writer? Try to publish! You can do it.

No one else seemed to have the same reaction to that story. It is rated 3.84
