Ok I have been almost killed at least four times this week by people who drive and insist on talking on their cell phone.. They are so distracted that they forget to check over their shoulder before switching lanes and almost run me off the road.

You beep your horn at them and they give you a dirty look like it was your fault that they aren't paying any attention!!!

This is no way to start the morning!!!

I hate cell phones...I just got one and I hate it. I'd much rather not have it...but it makes life so much easier. But I do agree people who talk on cell phones in cars should be beaten with a rod of steal. Heh...rod...heh...steal...

Morgan, I thought New York had a law on the books prohibiting the use of cell phones by a driver of a moving vehicle. I might be wrong about that.

In any case, I think it ought to be a national law. And one infraction ought to cause at least a six month suspension of all driving privileges.

About 4 months ago, I saw 2 women in a Lexus back over a man in the mall parking lot. They were both on cell phones. Probably, talking to EACH OTHER!
