Just two years ago, Sen. Chuck Schumer threatened Kavanaugh, claiming he would “pay the price” and that he “won’t know what hit [him]” should the justice make decisions that the Senate majority leader doesn't like.
This is a completely reprehensible comment by the leader of the Senate. This rhetoric undoubtedly encouraged not only this past week’s attacks, but also vandalism at pregnancy care centers across the country.
So as the Supreme Court prepares to release its final decision on Roe v. Wade, the Left must resist its calls for “a summer of rage” and its pledges to be “ungovernable.” This violence must stop — inside the womb and outside the womb.
Let us urge the leader of the Senate to uphold his oath of office and not encourage more violence toward his political enemies.
