This is a game that takes place in the medieval world of Taris, where dragons soar the skies and masters of magic in all its forms walk the land.

Shinto Village lies at the southern end of Capone Valley. About three days (walking) to the north lies Star City, which surrounds Whitestone Palace in the center. The entire city sits on the coast of the North Sea, where the valley ends.

Beyond the Valley is the Keldus Mountains.

Here is a map of the immediate area:
(sorry for the poor quality of the map. I just drew it up in like less than five minutes).

The idea of this game is to get a group of people together who play as characters within the village. The game is meant to be an erotic romance story, however the characters can do anything and go anywhere within the village and surrounding area.

If you are interested, please reply to this. In about 30 minutes I will make another post with more information on the village and Star City, the main NPCs, as well as my own character.

Okay, getting distracted. The rest of the info will be up around 4am (it's 3:20am now).

Damn. I was gonna write the rest of the intro for this game by 4am, but my damn pc went on the fritz. I finally got it working though, so the rest should be up shortly.

Star City:
Mayor: Kironus
Chief of Law Enforcement: Lenron

Star City is a massive medieval metropolis with a population of nearly 700,000.

The Royal Family of Whitestone Palace:
King Aldon
Queen Kiana
Princess Emily

Star City, Shinto Village, and the mountains beyond make up the Kingdom of Zangaard. Due to it’s relatively small size, the Zangaard Army leaves much to be desired, however the Navy is the predominant military branch and the Fleet is nearly fifty ships strong.

Zangaard’s greatest business is fishing. Not only do the fishermen sell seafood to Shinto and the smaller villages scattered in the mountains, but they travel to other lands where certain fish are very rare.

Shinto Village:
Village Elder: Radius
Chief of Law Enforcement: Zalbard

Shinto has several farms and ranches, and a Bazaar where people can set up stands and sell their goods. There are also several other shops and places of business, however here is a list of the more popular ones:

Moonlighter Inn & Tavern
- Head Barkeeper: Merik
- Head Innkeeper: Barret
- Head Cook: Manius

Zenard’s General Store
- Owner: Zenard

Torik’s Blacksmith Shop
- Owner: Torik

Shinto Stables
- Stablemaster Jared

That’s the basics. The rest of the village we can just incorporate as we play.

Make a character bio and post it, but don’t do any in-character dialogue until we know how many people are playing.

Name: Kaldonath “Kal”
Age: 23
Occupation: Merchant/Alchemist (creates and sells potions at his shop)

Appearance:
Kal stands about six feet and two inches, his body slightly muscular and well-toned. His skin is lightly tanned, and his jet black hair extends to just before his shoulders, but is usually tied back. His sky blue eyes are strong and brave, yet at the same time tender and passionate.

Bio:
Kal was born and raised in Shinto, and from a very young age he was fascinated with potions and how they worked. He did some reading at the library in Star City, and learned how to make a light healing potion. He was so proud of himself, and began to study more and more, checking out books and returning to Shinto (with his family, of course. A seven year old traveling between cities alone is unheard of).

By the age of thirteen, Kal had learned everything he could from the alchemy books in the library. Up until his sixteenth birthday, he created a few of his own potions and constantly reviewed what he knew and practiced.

Now that he was a man, a real adult, he set off through Regdar Canyon and into the forests beyond in search of more advanced alchemy. And he found it, in the form of an old hermit living in the forest. This man turned out to be a master alchemist who secluded himself in the forest to brew his potions in solitude.

In the five years that followed, Kal mastered the art of alchemy himself, making a month long visit home every spring. Each year, he showed off his new skills and then returned to the Hermit’s Hut for another year of training.

At the age of twenty-one, Kal and the Hermit parted ways, and he returned home for good. He sold potions at the Bazaar, saved up some coins, and was able to eventually purchase a small shop, which had living quarters on the second floor.

Most of the first floor is full of shelves with all kinds of potions, and there is also a back hallway that leads to the alchemy lab, the stairs, and to the lavatory (chamber pot and wash basin). Kal’s small single-room living quarters takes up part of the second floor, the other part being used for storage.

Kal is now twenty-three, is single, and has a successful business with much potential.

Come on, I'm sure there are other people somewhere who would be interested in this game.

i'm interested.

woudl play an elf of some sort...likely a caster, liek a druid or something.

Will post up somethign more when my brain is not dead.

Mmmmhmmmm...

Might post a female warrior. Knight, if possible, but if you (Jeff) think it would go against the "fluff" (background) then she will be a ranger. If she is a knight, she could be a wandering knight, in the quixotic sense (defends the weak, destroys evil, etc, not exactly a paladin, though).

You all can make any characters you want, so long as they fit into a magical medieval world and are not ridiculously powerful.

Name: Lady Diane of Solakria
Age: 24
Occupation: Wandering Knight.

Appearance:
Diane stands at about 5'8 feet, and although not excessively "wide-framed", the dress and armor she wears tend to fool people. She is pretty well built. Wears a blue, wide-skirted dress with armor plates on her thigs and legs, and an armored vest around her torso with a golden lion engraved on it. Also, kneepads and gauntlets. Her armor is steel, a pale grey over her blue dress.

Blue eyes, blonde with long hair tied in a ponytail at neck height, and a stern expression on her face. Keeps a sword in a scabbard hanging off her left hip.

Bio: Born in a noble Solakrian family, a nation dedicated mostly to war, she was trained in swordsmanship and tactics. She's a more-than-apt warrior, as a few dim-witted bandits found out to their chagrin.

Diane fought in a few battles, always in the front as is expected from Solakrian officers, and won laurels for her fighting prowess and battlefield tactics. However, four months ago, when she took to the battlefield once again, she found out she was to fight an old friend, and obviously kill him. With the vanguard elements of both armies ready for the first charge, she moved ahead, and stood alone in the middle of the field atop her horse, hoping for her friend to recognise her and talk to her, so as to explain the alleged treason charges brought against him, the reason she had been sent to fight him.

Diane's friend didn't appear, and instead a lone arrow hit her shoulder, one of her few body-parts not protected by her armor. Enraged by this treason, she ordered the attack. Three hours later, when the battle was won, she was nowhere to be seen, and her horse was gone...

This looks like it could be a fun game. Let me know if this character doesn't work and I can modify or change her altogether.

Name: Alara

Age: exact age unknown though she appears about 19

Height: 6' even

Appearance: A long golden mane of hair falls nearly to her waist and frames an oval face with brilliant green "cat" eyes, a straigh nose, and full, kissable lips. There's a delicacy of features as well as a slight upward point to her ears the speaks of a bloodline that's not entirely human though it is definatly mostly so. Her height added to the delicacy of her bone structure make her appear far more fragile than she is and a long flowing robe of forest green masks long legs as well as gently curving hips and firm medium sized breasts. A small waist is marked by the black belt at her waist that carries a variety of pouches for herbs and spices as well as a single silver dagger that rests on her hip.

Occupation: Sorceress with the innate power to make minor changes in the weather and to call small flames. These innate abilities don't drain her energy but performing other spells and magics do, how much they drain her depends on how large the spell is.

Bio: Her past is a mystery even to herself. She simply wandered out of the Keldus Mountains one evening, two years past, and into Shinto village. The only thing she could remember was the name Alara which she took as her own even though she wasn't certain it actually was.

When it was discovered that she had some innate magical ability over the weather the village farmers set her up with a small hut of her own and saw to it that she never went hungry. In return she often called small rain showers for their crops and lessened the fury of major storms that might damage them. It was a good arrangement for her and gave her the solitude she needed to study and learn even finer control of her magic.

Looks good. So far we have a total of five characters, including mine. Hmm.. An uneven number, so not everyone can have a relationship partner, unless there are threesums, lol.
