The best cuckold story I ever read was also an incest story, which probably isn't that surprising. The story was included in an collection of short stories by someone who at the time was very well known as an editor, a magazine editor I believe, rather than as an author, and it was the first time this person was publishing his stories in book form.

What's more, this author wrote science fiction, not erotica. I don't remember the name of the author (last name was Gary, Cary, Cory - something like that), nor do I recall the title of the story, but I know the main character was a poor mope named Luckman. The story was set in the not-too -distant future, on Earth, and Luckman writes for television commercials. The recklessness and violence of teenagers in that future society is a pivotal aspect of the story, and is used effectively as context for the narrative.

Luckman has a wife who still looks young and beautiful because she takes some sort of fountain-of-youth drug available in the future. Early in the story Luckman finds his wife in the bathroom, admiring their adult son while he takes a bath. The son is a lazy, no-account prick, and he sparks up a fatty while his Pop protests feebly. Mrs. Luckman is talking with Mr. Luckman, and all of a sudden she's telling him, "Look, look at that!" and pointing into the tub, where lazy, no account Luckman junior is sporting an obvious erection and exhibiting his way-above-average endowment. For some reason, it's like she fully expects dear old Dad to be as impressed as she is. Great angle.

Later Luckman comes home to find Mrs. Luckman and Luckman junior in bed together, and overhears his wife telling their son about Luckman's lack of endowment, making jokes about it. He walks in on them but they are completely without a care. Luckman junior just lays there smoking a cigarette and grinning at Pop while Mrs. Luckman complains to her husband about his lack of respect for people's privacy.

I know that cuckold stories usually feature a willing cuckold, but this story was somewhere in between. Luckman is being cuckolded viciously by his own wife - and with his own son to boot - and he puts up with it with only the weakest of resistance. In a way, the character's complete inability to make any kind of protest, the way he suffers being ridiculed, and the way he is psychologically "mounted" by his own son as well as by his colleagues, makes for a much more interesting treatment of the cuckold theme, in my opinion.

I read the story as a late teen in high school and it's stuck with me vividly ever since. That might seem odd since I can't remember the author or the title, but it's true. I'm interested in the cuckold fetish, because I have it myself, but no other story even remotely compares to that one. And it achieved an overpowering effect with virtually no actual descriptions of sex. The reader was given enough information to be able to fill in the blanks and let the imagination do its thing.
