It's made of patterns, and patterns can be broken.

Techincally, it's made of an interaction of energy and matter within the timespace continuum. Laws, as we know them, are only descriptors of this interaction.

Besides, wouldn't the cookie be advising you to break the universe?
Is that a subversive, terrorist fortune cookie?

Herringbone?
Okay, now that's just funny.

Right, and we do with them what the human brain does, naming, labeling, cataloging. Like you said, descriptors.

It was a very subversive fortune cookie, but it wasn't advising anything.

So you think! It's obviously a Communist Chinese fortune cookie trying convert you to the side of the Little Chairman

No, never mention any animal part in a Chinese restaurant, the chef might overhear and take it as a challenge. (I once was in one once and got a look at the other menu, the one Chinese immigrants order from. "Beef tendon in black bean sauce"? How poor are you?!)

Humans are all cocky and shit until some little trouble causing faster than light neutrino goes and fucks everything all up.

From the moment of my birth
To the instant of my death,
There are patterns I must follow
Just as I must breathe each breath.
Like a rat in a maze
The path before me lies,
And the pattern never alters
Until the rat dies.
