The United States of America is currently without a president.
The President of the United States is more than a person who sits their ass behind the desk in the Oval Office.
The President of the United States is America’s Chief Diplomat.
The President of the United States is America’s #1 law-enforcement officer.
The President of the United States is America’s #1 protector of the United States Constitution.
The President of the United States is America’s #1 defender of America’s national security.
Donald Trump is NONE OF THESE THINGS!
Donald Trump doesn’t do diplomacy. He does the exact OPPOSITE of diplomacy, flinging insults and ad hominem attacks at our Canadian allies, our German allies, our Swedish allies and our NATO allies. He’s sabotaging our international alliances, driving away our foreign allies and crippling America’s ability to act as a world leader.
Trump isn’t America’s #1 law-enforcement officer. Trump is one of America’s biggest LAW-BREAKERS. By Trump’s own admission, he’s perpetrated sexual assaults multiple times. In addition to his sexual assaults, Trump has also engaged in tax-fraud, marketing fraud, money-laundering, bribery and obstruction of justice! In addition to those crimes, he keeps hiring OTHER criminals to come work in the federal government!
Trump swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, however, he’s refusing abide by that oath.
He tells us that the United States Constitution is “very bad” and he’s chronically looking for ways to get around it. He tells us that he will never abide by the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution and he wants to trash the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. He wants to make it illegal to protest and he wants to make it illegal for America’s Free Press to criticize him. He basically wants to get trash the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and take away our Freedoms of Speech, Freedoms of Assembly and Freedom of the Press.
Finally, Trump is a total failure when it comes to protecting America’s national security. Vladimir Putin, the strongman ruler of Russia, and enemy of the United States of America used a multitude of means to attack the United States of America and alter the results of the 2016 national election. This is the consensus view of 17 American Intelligence Agencies. Trump KNOWS THIS; however, he refuses to take any action to punish Russia, or even to strengthen our cyber-defenses.
A hostile foreign power interfered in our elections, CONTINUES to interfere with our democracy, and is planning to interfere in our NEXT ELECTIONS — and Trump’s response to all this is to basically DO NOTHING!! Cyberattacks, manipulation of our news media and tampering with the results of our elections by a foreign power are all basically acts of war, yet Trump chooses to do NOTHING!
