You all may be wondering why I haven't gotten to today's tarot card readings. Well, after working a twelve hour shift last week and seeing how it reflected in my pay stub, I couldn't pass this one up.
But wait! There's more!
I wanted to go the to New York Lit get together with Perky and gang, but I had already made prior arrangements to go to Oz fest on the sixth. I wasn't going to ask for Friday and Saterday off when I know how short handed we are at work. Since my friend Heather had already brought the tickets, my hands were tied; besides, its OZZY!
But since I've done my boss this favor, he's taking it in concideration when he makes next weeks schedual. He asked me if I'd like a second day off this week, and I said "Friday?" So... I'll know tomarrow if I can go to New York with you, Perks. The chances have greatly improved, though.
