Women's March On Washington (and everywhere else) much, MUCH larger than expected

I was right there. AWESOME EVENT:

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C2t_OPtUAAAtFe3.jpg

300,000 in New York City. 125,000 in Boston. 50,000 in Austin, Texas. 15,000 in St. Louis. 10,000 in Portland, ME.

Across the country, the numbers for the Women’s March have turned out to be not just high, but higher than anyone would have predicted. Cities that had expected two thousand got ten. Areas that had planned on ten thousand got a hundred.

The overflow crowds are also happening in Washington, D.C.*where so many have turned up that it’s proving difficult to actually march.

A massive turnout at the Women's March on Washington has forced a change of plans. With the entire planned route filled with hundreds of thousands of protesters, organizers can't lead a formal march toward the White House.

Something similar happened in Chicago, where 150,000 protesters*showed up.
While the rally will go on, the march portion of the Women's March on Chicago has been canceled after a mushrooming crowd of 150,000 packed the downtown event Saturday.

In Washington, the numbers have dwarfed those of Trump’s inauguration.
A city official in Washington says the turnout estimate for the Women's March on the National Mall now stands at 500,000 people. That's more than double the initial predictions.

Food Network star Duff Goldman happened to notice similarities between Trump's celebratory cake and one he had made for Obama four years ago, and he said so on Twitter yesterday.

Today, the 2017 inaugural cake maker has responded.

On Instagram, Buttercream Bakeshop posted a response to comments that they replicated Food Network chef Duff Goldman's 2013 inaugural cake for former President Barack Obama. "While we most love creating original designs, when we are asked to replicate someone else's work we are thrilled when it is a masterpiece like this one," the post says.

Some big Whoppers from Dumbhead today!

President Trump used his first full day in office to wage war on the media, accusing news organizations of lying about the size of his inauguration crowd as Saturday’s huge protests served notice that a vocal and resolute opposition would be a hallmark of his presidency.

With Americans taking to the streets in red and blue states alike to emphatically decry a president they consider reprehensible and, even, illegitimate, Trump visited the Central Intelligence Agency for a stream-of-consciousness airing of grievances — including against journalists, whom he called “the most dishonest human beings on earth.”

Shortly thereafter, press secretary Sean Spicer addressed the media for the first time from the White House, where he yelled at the assembled press corps and charged it with “sowing division” with “deliberately false reporting” of Trump’s inauguration crowd.

Trump claimed that the crowd for his swearing-in stretched down the Mall to the Washington Monument. It did not. Trump accused television networks of showing “an empty field” and reporting that he drew just 250,000 people to witness Friday’s ceremony.

“It looked like a million, a million and a half people,” Trump said. “It’s a lie. We caught [the media]. We caught them in a beauty.”

During his 2009 inaugural address, President Obama’s crowd extended that far, and a side-by-side comparison of aerial photos from both inaugurations clearly shows that Obama’s crowd was much larger than Trump’s.

Spicer echoed his boss’s assertion about the inauguration, insisting from behind the podium at the White House press briefing room that more than 700,000 people stretched down the Mall to the Washington Monument.

“This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration, period — both in person and around the globe,” Spicer said, less than a minute after declaring that “no one had numbers” because the National Park Service, which controls the Mall, does not release crowd estimates.

One verifiable number that Spicer offered was that ridership on Washington’s subway system on Friday was higher than for Obama’s inauguration four years ago. Spicer said that 420,000 people rode Metro on Friday, while only 317,000 did so for Obama in 2013. Both of these numbers are inaccurate. Nearly 571,000 people rode on Friday, and 782,000 rode on Inauguration Day four years ago, according to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

Next up, I predict that the Liar Carrot Illegitimate President will accuse the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority of being members of a partisan group, working against him.I predict he will say something about shoddy work, and overpaid workers, and failing at their job. Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority just survived the onslaught of a historic protest march, travelling through Washington, D.C.

Protesters filled the entire length of the 2-mile route for the march and stretched beyond the White House. District officials told press that a formal march wouldn't be possible, but protesters still march toward the Ellipse and gathered around the Washington Monument on Saturday afternoon.

The AP news service has picked up on an interesting legal problem for the White House

President Illegitimate, The Liar Carrot may have a legal problem with his tweets

The Liar Carrot is still tweeting from his @realdonaldtrump account
Now, that he is President Illegitimate, he has legal obligations.

The Presidential Records Act, which mandates the preservation of all presidential records, says nothing explicitly about Twitter, since it was passed in 1978, long before the social media boom. But former President Obama’s staff considered his tweets to be a 21st century version of presidential correspondence.

Donald Trump took the oath of office Friday and in part with that transition he has taken over the @POTUS account.

Without any doing of your own, Twitter has made it so that if you followed @POTUS under Obama you're automatically following his now archived account at @POTUS44 in addition to the @POTUS account under Trump.

Trump's administration now has @FLOTUS for Melania Trump, @WhiteHouse, @VP for Mike Pence and @PressSec for Sean Spicer. The accounts from the last administration have been converted to @POTUS44, @FLOTUS44, @ObamaWhiteHouse, @VP44 and @PressSec44.

In his last day in office President Obama sent millions of dollars by executive order without permission of Congress to the U. N. and to countries that have no respect for women's rights. But this is the leftist way of doing things.

The people who are rioting that is "protesting" in our cities (by the way have you seen the trash they leave behind them? Talk about not caring about the environment) seem to forget that in this country women have more rights than in the majority of the world, yet not one speaker spoke of the women who have been sold into slavery, are not allowed to vote or even drive a car or go to school in countries Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton have taken money from and sent tax dollars to. They don't say that they have rights under the Constitution including equal pay (of course the people blocking traffic and wrecking public and private property do not work for a living or they would have more respect). They don't protest over the fact that Hillary Clinton destroyed the life of a young girl who was raped or that her husband molest women and she protected him and attacked them for speaking out. They don't protest that Obama with his Drag Queen and Pervert ruling allows men (and they don't even have to have a history as transgender, just say they are) can go into a women's restroom or girls locker room or take part in women's sports, after all women don't have any rights according to the left.

I watched the speakers read from cards (most didn't have any idea why they were there accept that they were bused in and told to be there) and they didn't do a good job reading their Masters words or their Masters words were poorly written. Either way it showed a lack of education on both parts. And women were using foul language and some even dressed as cunts (hey don't yell at me, they were the ones dressed and using the foul words). Just what is that suppose to prove? That they are trash and have disrespect for their own sex?

If they want control over their bodies then why don't they ask for clinics to give birth control pills and explain to young girls and boys the dangers involved in unprotected sex? instead they say go a head and get knocked up and then go to a baby killing factory and put your life in danger.

They don't protest the way of life in China and the Middle East and how women have no rights over their bodies there. Real rights. Death is usually the faith of women that violate what Obama's friends consider proper laws.

They don't protest the killing of families, the destruction of homes, people being forced out of their own country. These things are approved of by the left so aren't worth protesting about.

They don't protest the killing of thousands of blacks in one of our very own cities run by Obama's buddy and his corrupt drug and street gangs. Black life does not matter to the left.

They are over charged by Obama Care and yet they don't want to find a better, cheaper system of health care. The large drug companies and the clinics that get huge payments from the government are more important than women and girls.

If they tried to protest like this in China or the Middle East or most countries in Africa, there would be fewer women in the world right now. But they want that kind of life for women in this country. So you go girl.

Obama set free hundreds of drug dealers and gangsters lose on their cities, cities that neither they or their children can feel safe to walk in at night or day. They don't protest the way our education system has been destroyed by so called liberal educators. No wonder our children rank so low in the world in education.
No children are not important either.

They want a royalist run government where only the few elite have the power and the wealth while the rest get shinny little tokens tossed to them once in a while and live like slaves.

Just for the fun of it, find out who is paying and backing the so called protests? Why isn't all that money being used to help women instead of using them? What did Hillary and Bill Clinton do with all the billions of dollars they got from foreign dictators and corrupt business leaders in this country? Why didn't they use it for helping women and other worthy causes instead of their own political needs? How come the Obama's are so much richer after eight years in office? Where did that money come from? The point is that the people who are giving you orders, telling you what to say and how to act (and getting you to be violent and not respect the rights of others) are doing it for themselves. If they had cared for women's rights (if there are any our women don't have) then why not spend money on helping?

I haven't seen anything thing good that the leftist, the communists, have done for this country or for women. If you want to see what life is like under the kind of government and leadership you desire look at Cuba, China, Iran, etc.

No when you respect the rights of others and you don't lie and try to destroy those rights you do have, then I'll stand with you.

Trump has only been in office for a day and all ready he has helped more Americans and done more to help citizens than Obama and Clinton did in 16 years in office. But I'll wait and see and if he doesn't make things better than in four years we will put someone else in office, not a Chicago gangster or a political thief like Obama and Clinton, but someone who will work for the people. Right now Trump seems to be interested in working for the people and not the corrupt one percent like or foreign dictators like Obama and Clinton. History has shown what they have done.

Let's find out what he will do and if jobs come back, rights and lives are protected, our country returns to being a leader in the world, then we will better off. But acting like a third world bunch of bullies and dumb jerk puppets is not doing anyone any good.

...

The Presidential Records Act says nothing explicitly about Twitter

And that's why it's not a legal problem at all.
You do need to abide by regulations. But if something is unregulated (i.e. not mentioned in the regulation) - then this regulation does not apply to it.

Obama's administration can consider anything to be anything. Doesn't make it a regulation or a law though.

It's fine, don't worry about it. Trump has a stupid idea that there needs to be more privacy-breaching government goons watching everything that happens over the internet.

The NSA is keeping track of all his tweets for him. Or, on the other hand, the army of Trump haters repost everything he says because every word that he says or writes is wrong somehow, so it's going to be around forever.

Yes, I for one want him to keep on tweeting. They are so revealing and useful.

"The symbolism was heightened by the timing, coming less than two days after about half a million people descended on Washington, D.C., on behalf of women’s rights, and just hours after women’s-rights activists celebrated the 44th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court ruling that upheld abortion as a constitutional right."

Trump Aides Keep Leaking Embarrassing Stories About How He Can’t Handle Embarrassment

Mr. Trump grew increasingly angry on Inauguration Day after reading a series of Twitter messages pointing out that the size of his inaugural crowd did not rival that of Mr. Obama’s in 2009. But he spent his Friday night in a whirlwind of celebration and affirmation. When he awoke on Saturday morning, after his first night in the Executive Mansion, the glow was gone, several people close to him said, and the new president was filled anew with a sense of injury.

“The lack of discipline troubled even senior members of Mr. Trump’s circle,” the paper wrote, “some of whom had urged him not to indulge his simmering resentment at what he saw as unfair news coverage.”

And then, on Monday night, Trump’s staffers whispered an even more vivid account of his rough weekend to the Washington Post.
