And make no mistake, he does have a mandate. Just winning an election is a mandate.

He won the Electoral vote, and that worked exactly as the founders designed it to. (As an aside, over twice as many Hillary electors turned out to be 'faithless' as Trump electors. Apparently that entire effort wasn't well thought out.)

Yeah, yeah, now comes the nattering nabobs yapping about the popular vote. To those I say, "Go read Federalist 68, the whole thing, not just the part that was cited by the activists in the aforementioned abortive effort."

Where does the mandate come from? Well, Trump carried 30 states. 60% of the nation as a Federal Republic. Not a number to sneeze at. But the real eye opener is that Trump carried 98.1% of all the counties in the United States. Hillary carried 1.9%. Now we're talking a real mandate, aren't we?

So what are the mandates?

1. Run the cockroaches out. ie. enforce immigration laws.

2. Shit can "ShuckNJiveCare"

3. Roll back the Executive Orders and over-reaching regulations.

4. And if he sticks to his list he's going to load the SCOTUS with conservative judges.

What else did he talk about? (Here is where I'd like to take bets on which moron is going to jump in with "make America Great again," as if campaign slogans are actual line item programs. But they will because they bought into the whole "Hope and Change" bull shit as an actual program.)

Kissinger digs him...I had no idea he was even still alive.

Hillary supporters might need some kind of stimulus package to wake them up from their coma.

Nobody seriously believes he will make America great again, glad to see we agree on that.

That depends on who you ask. I'm sure if you ask a multi-millionaire if he's Trump is making America great they'll probably say yes, anyone else will likely disagree.

So much effort from the deplorables to spin his win as a positive. Desperation at every turn.

Enjoy your fragile, temporary kingdom. We've got the popcorn ready for when it falls.

I'm glad you quoted that. That post perfectly captures the democrat attitude, and the agenda they've worked towards all these years.

Actions have consequences.

Paul Ryan and the gang will gut Medicare.
Government parasites such as you will be dead within two years.

It is my most sincere hope that your forthcoming demise is both long and painful. :)

Yeah, it sure was smart of y'all to avoid that "winning" trap.

A rising tide lifts all boats. Reaganomics. Scary, huh. :)

You guys are terrified to death that he might actually be good at "it". :)

Even when I tag my posts as [/bait] - right there, in the post - they can't help themselves. That's how good I am. :D

LMAO! No he doesn't have a mandate.

You can't lose the popular vote and claim you have a mandate. It just doesn't work like that no matter how much you may want it to.

But watching you crave that legitimacy is fun. :D

How's Hillary's mandate going for her? :)

Every Democrat in Washington is a multimillionaire. Hillary has like 250 millions. Many GOP elites voted for Hillary. George Bush did. Romney did.

As we can see, he is already acting on his mandate in foreign policy and in domestic economics...

Hillary got all her popular vote surplus in California. But not one Trump win flipped to Hillary. Maybe she oughta move to California.

But Trump also held all of Congress, so I guess he does have a mandate. Poor baby.

Racist dumbfucks should refrain from talking about California because you fuckers always get it wrong.

The fact that she's not there probably explains her last vestige of popularity...

;) ;)

How does it work?

What if you assume you have a mandate, you're "wrong" that you have a mandate, but you go ahead and govern as if you have actually have a mandate and you subsequentlty get re-elected. Would that be okay?

The mistake Republicans have made for the last six years is not governing like they had the mandate that they actually did. Obama's policies have been rejected for the last six years in every single election cycle. Those who ran against Obama's policies were elected. Those that ran on the fact that they've opposed Obama got reelected. The only Democrat I can think of, not in a safe district that kept their seat was Reid.

He has every bit of a mandate that his hubris grants himself, and last I checked, Trump is well provisioned with chutzpah.
