Sunday was a day of remembering 9/11 and a day of honoring those who lost their lives, and those who gave their lives.

President Obama, gave a speech on 9/11.

“For we know that our diversity"
"our patchwork heritage—is not a weakness;
it is still, and always will be, one of our greatest strengths,”
“This is the America that was attacked that September morning."
"This is the America that we must remain true to.”

I had imagined that this 9/11 was a day of quiet reflection.
9/11 was a day of trauma, loss, and great grief.

I did not anticipate, that because of Trump fueling Islamophobia,
September 11, 2016 would be a day that included hateful acts.

Despite what Trump uses to please his fans,
no one celebrated the destruction of the twin towers
and the fall of a third building,
or the downing of a plane
through terrorism.
Muslims did not cheer and dance
in America
when 9/11 happened
Trump lied and fed hate.

But, that is what Trump does.
He feeds hate.

Why look at reality, if someone encourages you to hate ?
Why educate yourself with facts, if you are offered a chance to be violent?
Why bother to think, if you are offered a chance to be senseless ?
Trump is the worst candidate for president that America has to offer.
He brings the worst out in people, because he is a grifter.
If America was the country that Trump defines it, as being
President Obama would have never had a chance to be elected.

President Obama would not be here, to remind us
that color and religion did not matter on 9/11
All Americans felt pain and loss.
Race and religion did not matter to Death
Death took anyone
The first responders tried to save everyone.
The police and firefighters were there to help everyone.
Everyone helped anyone.
That is America.
