Over 600 cars rolled through Portland last night, the occupants waving Trump flags and weapons, pepper-spraying people and creating paintball graffiti.

As the convoy of Trump vehicles entered the city center, Trump supporters sitting in the back of pick-ups used pepper spray on counter-protesters. Eggs were thrown at their trucks and cars, and the Trump supporters retaliated by turning paintball guns on the crowd, allegedly firing ball bearings.

One person was shot dead, but the news lacks details. White man, chest wound, Patriot Prayer hat.

Meanwhile, the driver of a dark-colored sedan revved his engine and then sped towards the crowd of BLM protesters before driving off, miraculously managing to not hit anyone.

This caravan must be halted!

I know this is a common belief, but the idea that violence in the streets will be blamed on the guy who's not the president pretty much goes against everything I know about politics.

Trump can't exactly claim none of this would be happening if he was in charge. (We'll leave aside that an administration filled with criminals calling itself "law and order" is idiotic on its face.)
