This is really more of a character idea than a story idea. The character calls himself "The True Hedonist," but he'll make up a normal name when he needs to interact with people. TTH (The True Hedonist) is somewhat godlike in his power, though it is not clear where his power comes, why he has it, or even where and when he was born. However, TTH doesn't care about these things, he only cares about pleasure. TTH is perfectly capable of changing form (even gender). In fact, TTH can do pretty much anything with his powers.
However, some forms of pleasure are best if TTH limits his powers. For example, an all-powerful being cannot experience the pleasure of being teased if he can cause himself to orgasm at will. TTH frequently temporarily turns off his powers. Sometimes TTH will even create a shell mind outside of his own so that he can enjoy his time without risking his sanity (e.g. if he decides to try something painful or be hypnotized or whatever).
TTH frequently positions himself in apparent danger (i.e. positions that would endanger a human).
At this point, I should probably explain the point of having TTH in a story. Clearly TTH is a great...or at least versatile... character for sci-fi stories since he can do pretty much anything. His use of power is largely a result of his own whims as he has little belief in things like planning.
TTH can also be used to get characters out of dangerous situations. Feel like having an NC BDSM story with brutal torture? TTH will pretend to his captors to not enjoy it*. He'll let them torture him. Now, imagine they finally feel they've beaten him into submission and decide to give him away. They tell him so, he says no (there's pleasure in screwing people but there's also pleasure in screwing with people). TTH walks through the chains, explains that the BDSM was getting kind of boring, thanks his captors, and leaves.
*Or he'll acknowledge his enjoyment. He'll smile through all the torture and cruelty, smile when he's punished for smiling, he'll just keep smiling. One wonders how his captors will react. An initial assumption that the smile is fake will be proven wrong when they threaten and then carry out their threat to do something if he won't stop pretending to smile.
