David saw the escape pod on the screen, it was about 20,000 km away. He opened up a hailing frequency to see if there was anyone in the pod. He needed to pick up the pod anyway, it was part of the code of space, but if there was someone on board he needed to have the proper quarters set up for them before he could get them to a nearby station that could take care of them, and find them a way home. He turned on the universal translator, and sent out the standard escape pod message. "Hello, this is the Tornado, we see your escape pod, how can we be of assistance, please respond on frequency 203.11."

Hotaru groaned as she got up from the floor, rubbing her head. She had been on her way to her home planet when the hyperdrive malfunctioned, stranding her into who knows what galaxy and, also, making her bump her head and knock herself out cold for who knows how long. As her head cleared, she could hear the communicator beeping, meaning she was being hailed. With a grunt, she got up and leaned against the controls, pushing the button that opened the channel.

"Hello, this is the Tornado, we see your escape pod, how can we be of assistance, please respond on frequency 203.11."

Hotaru sighed and said "This is the Silence Glaive. I just woke after being knocked out. I dunno where my ship is or where I am. I would appreciate the help"

David pressed the button to activate the tractor beam to bring her pod inside the ship. "I'm bringing your pod in now, I will be down with the medical kit to render assistance when your pod is brought in. We can talk more when you are on board." He said pressing the button ending the communication, before grabbing a nearby medical kit and heading down to the escape pod collection bay.

Hotaru nodded and sat on the chair, closing her eyes and waiting patiently as her pod was dragged inside the other ship. She wondered where she had ended up and if this male would be of help.

David got down to the bay just as the pod was dragged in. The pod open and he entered with the medical kit. He saw her cut, and immediately began treating it. She did look beautiful, and bad thoughts began creeping into her mind, which he tried to suppress as he treated her. "Is there any other injuries besides this cut." He said as he scanned her, trying to determine if she had any internal injuries.

"No... Im fine.... I guess I just cut myself with something while the pod rocked..." Hotaru said as she looked at him curiously. He did look like her, except for the eyes and his hair. She frowned mentally.... she had never seen hair like that one. She shrugged it off and held her eyes to his face, reusing to let her eyes wonder over his well toned body "Who are you? and where in the universe am I?" she asked as she looked at her now dressed wound and examined the bandage.

David looked at her, and helped her up. "My name is David, I'm from Earth, you are in the Milky Way Galaxy, a long distance away from my home, I'm just exploring the universe on my own." He started walking helping her out of the pod. "Come on let me get you to your room for the next little while, so you can rest and get something to eat before we start with the questions"

Hotaru nodded and struggled to hide both her curiosity about everything. Where was this Earth? She had never heard of that particular planet before. The Milky Way galaxy? She had only heard it mentioned once or twice. Her stomach growled, reminding her that she was hungry and she bit her lip, wondering how she was ever going to get home.

David got her to her room, and sat her down at the table. "So you need something to eat do you, miss?" He said looking at her, heading over to the meal unit. He pressed a few buttons, and got out a basic human meal, just to see if she would like it. "Eat and then I'm guessing you have alot of questions, just like I have alot of questions to ask you."

Hotaru looked at the man, then at the food she had in front of her. There was a weird white looking type of meat and grass mixed with what she could only imagine to be fruit. Taking a fork, she started eating slowly, liking the taste of everything, but especially a green colored fruit that tasted rather sweet "What is this?" she asked David as she speared a piece and showed it to him.

He looked at her and the fruit that she had speared on the fork. "That is an apple, its in a salad with dried pieces of bread called croûtons, celery, cheese, pieces of bacon and lettuce. The meat on the plate is called Chicken." He said looking at her smiling. "What is your name miss?" He said, looking over her beautiful body surprised at how different, yet how similar she was to him.

"My name's Hotaru" she said in a soft voice as she blushed, noticing him looking her all over. She knew she had done that while they had been walking to the room but still, it was a little unnerving. She turned to look at the food and made sure to eat all of the apples before looking up at him "What other questions do you have?" she asked as she took off her gloves, one of them stained with her blood. She was wearing what appeared to be light brown cargo pants and a black tube top, a light brown sleeveless vest around her and short black fingerless gloves.

David looked at her eyes, and smiled. "Come lets go into the living area, you can rest on the couch, and I can sit in the chair, and I assume you care to know about everything to do with me as well, so how about we go back and forth with questions. "First off can you tell me where you are from, and how did you end up here?"

Hotaru nodded and sat on a sofa, leaning her back on the handstand, turning to face him "Im from the planet Omega Lunae of the galaxy Nova Soleil and I was exploring other galaxies. I was on my way home, traveling on Z-space (what they call the space where a hyperdrive makes a ship travel at the speed of light) when my hyperdrive malfunctioned. I can only assume that I hit my head on the floor and scraped myself while my ship shuddered and the pod lunched in emergency mode, like it should." she sighed and leaned her head on the back of the sofa, a finger twirling a strand of red hair around. "What about you David? Tell me of your people and your planet"

David looked at her. "Well what can I say I come from Earth, I've been out here trying to make a living by shuttling stuff back and forth, make a pretty decent wage out of it." He said smiling at her. "More interesting then Earth, more exciting too, not everyone on Earth is able to go to space its a very restrictive world now a days, compared to what we know of the past."

Hotaru nodded, truly curious and wanting to know more. She was used to traveling all over space. Part of that was curiosity, another her love for the different types of stars, discovering different worlds and new things. "Tell me about your system of stars.... whats it called? What are the other planets like? Do you have a star in its center?" she asked before lightly blushing and looking at her hands "Im sorry I sound so curious..." ... and nerdy she added in her mind

David looked at her. "Well it does have a star in the center, and 8 planets orbiting it, the first four, Earth is the third are made of rock, and the other 4 are gas type planets. Then you get into dwarf planets, and alot of rocks and debris, there is an asteroid belt seperating the first 4 planets, from the other 4." He said smiling at her. "Come on you tell me more about yourself and your people, I'm guessing you never heard of Earth before."

Hotaru smiled and looked at him carefully, examining his appearance "Well, most of the older generations of my people prefer to stay on our planet or, at least, on our galaxy. The younger generations though, like their adventure, though not many wonder farther than the end of our galaxy as well. Id say we look mostly like you. Though Ive never seen that hair color or the shape or color of your eyes before" she said as she unconsciously moved closer and reached a hand to touch his hair, stopping short and blushing, letting her hand fall to her lap "Im sorry. Im just way too curious for my own good, or so my parents say"

David got up and moved closer, time to start his little plan of getting her to become his slave into action. He placed a hand on her shoulder, and another running through her hair. "No one could ever be to curious, now why don't you tell me how are females treated on your planet, and how specifically were you treated." He said smiling at her.

Hotaru shivered gently at his touch. She didnt feel like she knew him well enough to let him touch her so friendly, but was afraid of hurting his feelings, especially if this was the way Earthlings normally treated strangers. With a soft sigh, she made her body relax and enjoy his touch "Women are mostly treated as less than the men. Mostly as slaves. This is why the younger generations want to get away from the planet. Call it a revolution of rights, if you will" she said in a soft voice as she felt his fingers stroke her hair over and over again.

David looked at her, and sat down besides her. "Hmm, what kind of slave, what sort of things are the females made to do." He said looking at her, knowing that while she might of been running away from her planet, there would be a part of her brain that wanted to be a slave, and he was going to tap into that, and make her his slave.
