IC:
It was a warm sunny day. I waited on the platform, ready for my long journey to meet one of my friends. After about 10 minutes, the train pulled into the station and I entered one of the middle carriages. Taking a quick look around, there seemed to be only a handful of passengers.
The carriage was split up into several compartment, each offering a fair amount privacy from the other ones. I opened the door of an empty compartment and entered. There were two rows of seats facing each other. Each row with enough space for 3 people.
Carl the conductor walked down the train, checking each compartments passengers all had the right tickets and relevant documentation.
"TICKETS PLEASE" he would shout as he walked down the aisles of each carriage, checking each compartment in turn. It was an interesting job in many ways, meeting people all travelling for a variety of different reasons across Europe. Some travelled for business, some to meet friends, a lot of people were on some sort of travelling vacation.
Something didn't seem quite right today. Every now and then you got people trying to dodge fares using whatever means they could think up. If they were caught with no money they would be in trouble, and kicked off the train. Today every time he entered a carriage he heard scarpering as though some people were trying to evade him. But he would get hold of whoever they were soon enough.
Rose heard the request for tickets and took hers out of her coat pocket and smiled some looking at him, with a nod he just left and she looked around, seeing some worried faces on them, unsure of what was going on Thur there minds, she sighed a little. Her brown eyes scanned the area, unsure of what was going to happen but she had a very good idea on how her day was going to go. She was tired of nothing in her life going well. She was single, she was alone and no one around her was talking, so it was rather a nice quite time on the train.
The conductor reached my compartment and I showed him my ticket. For some reason I felt worried even though I had no reason to. He said the ticket was fine and he made his way to the next compartment.
I hoped something interesting would happen on the journey rather than having to read my newspaper.
Emily walked into the compartment, glancing at the conducter as he brushed past her. She had sat down in the smoking carraige by accident, a fact she hadn't noticed until a middle aged man on the seat across from her lit up a rather large and smelly cigar.
"This compartment seems better" she thought "not as many people either". She took off her suit jacket and threw it down on a seat across from a man with dark hair. "Pretty cute" she thought to herself "maybe this journey will brighten up, God knows I need some distractions..." She smiled to him politely as he caught her eye.
She placed her case on the rack abover her head. Her short beige skirt riding up just below her bum cheeks as she stretched up to reach the shelf...
Just as the conductor left, a slim young woman walked past him and came into my compartment. Things were looking up.
She took off her jacket allowing me to see more of her great figure. She smiled at me. Had she caught me checking her out? I smiled back.
She turned and put something on the overhead rack. I admired her long legs underneath her short skirt. I wondered what she was wearing underneath it and tried to resist bending lower to get a better look.
