People don't usually post in these Sunday threads anymore. They were quite popular when they were Storm's weekly thing, but then he poofed, account and all. Honestly, they haven't been the same since. But, I'm doing this anyway as i sip my coffee and watch Sunday Morning.

So as this is the Sunday before Thanksgiving Day, here in the U.S., I give you a couple of turkeys:

If you've ever been behind a semi truck full of caged turkeys stacked 6 rows high and could see them though the cloud of feathers, you'd see they look nothing like that.

3.46pm here, just about dark. i'm curled up in the warmth, table lamp on, a good book to finish, and a tot of whisky in my coffee as the rain rains non-stop and has been all day. things could be a whole lot worse! happy sunday :rose:

Enjoy the time, Jelly. As the country song goes, "you're gonna miss this"...someday.

Ann, I had 4 truckloads of turkeys pass me on the interstate a couple of weeks ago. It made me kinda sad.

Happy Sunday, Butters.

I envy the whiskey in your coffee.

I slept in this rainy Sunday morning, now I'm sipping on a mug of warm lemon water and trying to gear myself up to work out.

I hope not to take a nap today. I feel as though I've wasted time when I do that. Yesterday, I napped about all day, that should be enough time wasting.

My dad always told us a recession was when your neighbor was unemployed, a depression is when you are unemployed. He was right.

For the record, if I were a bird, I'd let you eat me.

It was hot yesterday. Between like 41-43 degrees C. About 110 F for all you yanks out there.

Really messes with your overall performance. I have to go to work in a few hours. It's Monday, just after 3am. I should be asleep, however. Hi. :)

I hope your insomnia doesn't make your Monday suck.

Hi back!

The family member who is so unbelievably ignorant of the law of unintended consequences has been remarkably silent on social media. I suspect the recent unearthing of shenanigans may be the reason.

Hi back!

I was going to cook a roast lamb yesterday but it was too hot, so I made salad instead. Roasted sweet potato, red onion, a little marinated feta... It was outstanding. Really yum.

I'll be alright. I have a big bottle of cold water.

I have already eaten up to my eyeballs in turkey and stuffing. I have never in my life been to so many "pre-Thanksgiving parties" and I might actually be sick of turkey at this point. I am wondering if this is some sort of a new trend, like shooting off fireworks the week before the 4th, unwrapping Christmas presents before the 25th, or having premarital sex.

After two fantastic days of camping, it is now raining and Sunday.

There should be a law.

We are thankful to have rain rather than additional snow, but I'm glad you had two consecutive fantastic days. :)

I personally blame the plethora of stores open on Thanksgiving Day for the above-mentioned abomination. People are left getting together on whatever days their family members who work retail have a day off. It sucks and people who frequent those sales should all be struck with a horrid case of something horrible.

There is a reporter on TV wearing a candy cane striped tie. I didn't hear a word he said for thinking, "omg his tie is a candy cane!"
