Good build and good package

Only serious roleplaylers please, hope to make this good.
------------------------------------------------------------

It had taken him 6 years and most of his father's wealth to finaly build a time machine. People had believed he'd never figure it out and that it was a waste of time and money. Drake was born Drakon Scelive McCloud, July 19, 2009. People knew him as Drake for short. He was a good child, never cried much but understood things quick and figure out things that most people would never understand.

As he reached Highschool, he became well known for his ability to swim incredibly fast, he was the fastest in State and also a straight A student. He lost his virginity to a girl named Silvia, a nice girl of about 18 while he was 17. She had some of the biggest breasts in school at the time but she was also known as the slut of the school. Yet she had only slept with three other guys beside himself. His sex life in college was good as well, but slowly deminished. He dropped out of college ecause everything seemed to easy for him. He was very interested in Physics and Science.

His father died before he dropped out however, giving Drake all his wealth of 25 million. His father had been a doctor and his father's father had been a scientist for the Manhatten Project, never met him though. Drake had discovered blue prints in a book that he found in his father's house. Drake's father believed that even though he was rich, he wanted to live a normal life and give a normal life to his family. The book contained entries from his grandfather as well as his great grandfather. Drake soon believed that these prints could make a machine that could send him back into time to better learn people, or even send him into the future and see how things progress.

That was 8 years ago... Drake had finally finished his machine. There was a seat in the middle, while platinum shaped spheres would circle around him.Drake looked at it in awe. I hope I've made you proud...everyone... He said to himself. He stepped into the machine and inserted his key. Luckily, not many people visited his home, so, no one should really have missed him. In a way, he'd never be gone either. He inserted the year he'd like to go to. 1912 The machine started to humm and wiggle a bit as he began to be inccircled by an orb. The machine had never been tested but he really hoped it would turn him into goo.

The humming became louder as the spheres moved quicker around him until he couldn't see them and all he could hear was the faint hum of the machine. He looked at where he once worked and saw people moving them, quickly. So quickly they were a blur, boxes moved in front of him and, the building changing until finaly, things began to slow. The machine slowed to a stop and everything looked normal. The air seemed fresher and more clean. It was nice, everything was green and simple. He placed two layers of large sheets onto the machine to hide it, it blended with the alley. Luckily, the alley ended right after the machine, so there was only one way to get to it and it bleded very well with the wall.

He stepped out onto the street and looked around. Where to begin...

I stood outside the Royale Hotel in Southampton watching but not listening as my father gave additional instructions to Reynolds, my ladies' maid. She, like I, had heard it all before and would likely hear it again before we left on our transatlantic journey but she stood in front of him patiently, as if absorbed by his every word. I could barely contain myself and struggled not to fidget impatiently. English ladies do not fidget and I was an English lady, at least on the outside. My father often said I was too much like my American mother to be a lady all the way through, so he would be pleased if I at least acted like one.

Reynolds and I were going to America on the greatest ship ever built, the RMS Titanic. One of my American cousins was marrying a scion of one of the country’s wealthiest families; it would be the joining of two great American fortunes and a profitable business merger. Once he had my mother’s fortune my father didn’t care to socialize with her family but since she died two years ago, he must either hope I find a rich husband of my own or make a good impression on my grandfather. Father says he is a rich as Croesus. My father’s sister was to accompany us but was suddenly stricken with the mumps, of all things. My father has only a very short time to find a replacement or I will be traveling to America almost on my own. I say almost, because Reynolds will be with me and although only 26 years old, a mere 8 years older than I am, she can be quite a dragon when she tries.

I considered reminding my father that a gentleman would not keep a lady standing outside of a hotel but thought better of it. Instead, I stood there and allowed myself to be admired by the passing crowds. My new traveling dress was from Paris, very fashionable and very flattering. The blue wool suited my coloring, fair skin with pink cheeks, dark hair, and blue eyes. I was pleased with the way it made me look taller and accented my willowy figure without flattening out curves. I do love the latest Parisian fashions.

My attention is caught when my father repeats my name, “Yes, Father. Of course I am listening.” I can see Reynolds’ smile, she knows I was not listening. She knows me well. And I will have the entire voyage to get to know her, wheedle the truth out of her. I am curious to know why such a beautiful young woman would work for my father when obviously household servitude is beneath her station. All I know is that her name is Eva Reynolds and she has a secret.

OOC: I hope this is what you had in mind. If not, let me know and I'll change it or remove it.

Eva Reynolds

Eva listened contentedly enough as Mr. B gave instruction. She had heard it many times before as she was sure the girl had to. She was not overly happy to be at this point in her life, but you did what you had to do and when you had to do it.

Mr. B had given her a job when no one else would. He had instructed her that his daughter was much willful, like his estranged American wife and had told her to keep a watchful eye on her every minute.

Eva was no saint and by no means would she crowd this youthful lady like she was being requested to. She merely nodded and agreed when needed and shook her head and frowned also.

She would make this passage home and when home, she could shed this skin and be the woman she was. If only they knew what she was, whom she was, she would not be where she was.

That, was her secret.

(I took a chance also. I hope it too is okey)

Drake stood there for a moment, taking in everything. It seemed so different from his own time, it seemed somewhat...better. Yet very unsoffisticated I guess you could say. He made his way along the sidewalk, noticing looks he recieved from passing strangers, most likely the clothes he was wearing. Clothes Just as he rounded a corner. The sound of a horn blew. It was so loud that he could feel his hair partially move backwards from the direction he was looking. My lord...

He stood there amazed, looking at the massivly large, yet incredibly well known ship, the RMS Titanic. In his time, the Titanic had been moved from the surface by new technology and placed into a large museum in his hometown, it was amazing. Only this time, there was no rust, broken wirse or missing pieces. It was large and full of life, life that would be removed from this earth. He understood the dangers of interacting with the path, he hoped, worse would not come to worst.

With his eyes transfixed with the ship, he kept walking but quickly bumped into something, or so he though, it was a women, dressed very fancy as if she were going to a dance, in his time. Sorry miss... wasn't looking where I was going.

Lilly felt herself jostled and turned to deliver at scathing remark on the grace and manners of whoever was incapable of walking down the street without looking where they were doing…

Sorry miss... wasn't looking where I was going.

It was an America accent, different from her mother’s, but she was certain it was American, educated most likely, possibly a gentleman. She was smiling by the time she faced him, only to be struck momentarily silent by his bizarre clothing.

She also noticed he was tall and handsome, two things Lilly rarely failed to notice, no matter how distracted she was.

“Of course, sir” she said nodding her head graciously. “It is understandable, the ship truly does attract all eyes. Will you be joining her for her maiden voyage?” Obviously, with those clothes, he can’t be a passenger, so Lilly assumes he is a crew-member.

Catching site of the oddly dressed young man, Eva tried to hustle Ms. Lilly along. It would not do for her father to see her being so blatant in public.

"Lilly, darling, we must be off. We have to check into our staterooms. Sir, if you please, make way" her tone not angry, polite. She took Lilly by the arm and began to shuffle her along the little bridge they had from port to ship.

She watched as Lilly turned her head to catch a glimpse of the young man.

"Lilly, you must not be so open in public dear. With your father watching, he could get the wrong impression. He was handsome though wasnt he dear?' she said. Her last statement punctuated by girlish laughter.

He watched them leave and he just smiled. But as he began to think about her question to him, will you be joining her for the maiden voyage? He didn't know, he looked up at the ship, in alil less than five days, that ship and most of its passengers would be dead and in the water. Perhaps, he could save one or two. I mean after all, he thought. There heading to America, if they came back with him, he could get them started with a new life and they could live instead of die. He just hoped his actions wouldn't effect the past.

He needed a place to stay and with quite a bit of money in his wallet, he knew he'd be fine. He just had to find a place. As he kept walking he found that one person was following him, most likely a pickpocket of somesort. Drake had even been hit on by a few ladies, probably whores from the way they looked. He found a building that read, Olavv's Inn. He headed inside and went up to the front.

Excuse me, sir? Is there by any chance a room available? Drake asked?

Well yes there is, that is unless you got the money for it.

He placed him what money he had infront of him and the man accepted it. Olavv, Drake presumed told him what room and gave him the key. He noticed a bar at the other end of the room and went over to it and asked for a whiskey and in no time, it was right infront of him.

"Lilly, you must not be so open in public dear. With your father watching, he could get the wrong impression. He was handsome though wasnt he dear?' she said. Her last statement punctuated by girlish laughter.

Lilly sighs, as Eva leads her along, "Yes, he was. Tall and handsome, like... "she doesn't say his name, he is no longer important, just a piece of her childish past. "Yes, the tall and handsome, so of course he will either be working in the belly of the ship never seeing the light of day or he will be traveling third class."

Her face takes on a rare look of concern, "Do you think father noticed?"

After a few drinks here and there, he head up to his room. Drake began to devise a plan on getting his machine onto the Titanic, hopefully able to get one or two people of the ship before it went under. Drake just had to figure out how to get the machine onto the ship. Finally it came to hit, he just needed to box it up into a massive crate and have it placed inside of it. From what he knew from his vist from the museum, there was a large section of the ship that would be open for deliveries such as crates of material from the passengers, along with food and supplies. Since it was easily mid afternoon, he had to find a place that could crate the time machine.

Drake headed out in the world and started to search shops and ask people until he located the only place in town. He spoke to the mannager of the store and told him exactly where it was, and not to touch anything for it was an experiment, very deadly, even though it wasn't. By the next day it would be on the ship. As he left, he felt a hand in his pocket and grabbed for the hand quickly, unbelievably fast. He found that a kid had tried to pickpocket him. LEMME GO! The kid yelled, Drake grabbed the coins in the kids hand and took them, placing him on the ground. Next time, ask. He handed the kid a few coins and started to walk off, not looking back.

Posing herself for no one’s benefit but her own, Lilly holds a book of French poetry on her lap while her father complains about the lack of dependable females in his family. As usual, Reynolds sits quietly until she is addressed or expected to agree with him. The rented sitting room is small and the man’s pacing threatens to destroy any number of objects.

Lilly can see that her father is working himself into a frenzy that may cause him to cancel the trip, and she senses she must act swiftly.

“Father, have you asked Cousin Lucille? She seemed quite dependable when we met in Bath.” Lilly says sweetly, knowing quite well, what Lucille has done.

“Lucille! That hen-wit! She ran off with a sergeant, not an officer, but a sergeant! Even if she was available she is now unsuitable. And you are never to mention her again. Do you understand?”

“Yes, Father. Of course. Father. ... you have to find someone else, I can’t go with just Reynolds. She is taking the duty of watching me far too seriously. Only this afternoon when I tried to speak with a man who accidentally bumped into me, she nearly dragged me off the side. I didn’t even have ….”

“Young lady!” his voice booms. “You should thank Reynolds; she obviously has more concern for your reputation than you have for it.” He looks over to Reynolds, and casts an approving glance. Loyal and dependable, he thinks and for a while, at least, he relaxes and stops worrying. “You are fortunate she is willing to travel with you, were she not you would not be going.”

“Yes, Father.” Her voice is subdued as she looks down at her lap. “I am very fortunate.” As she picks up her book she can no longer suppress her smile. That should do it, she thinks to herself.

A few days passed and before he realized it, Drake had snuck onto the Titanic through the cargo hold and was looking at his box. Luckily, it had been in the back corner. As people boarded, he began to take apart the box, seems the men hadn't touched anything, that was perfect. He was able to move the machine into the corner and cover it with a tarp he found laying around. He made sure, it was ready for use again, because the Titanic wouldn't last long out at sea. Yet now was the harder part, finding someone that he could bring back without ruining the timeline.

On his way up to the upper deck, he had found a closet full of uniform, coats and other attire. He was able to pull out some suspenders, a white shirt that was his size that showed off his body somewhat, as well as a nice tux if he ever needed it. He put it near his time machine before heading back up to where the people were now located.

On the Grand Promenade of the RMS Titianic with her father and Reynolds, Lilly was counting down the minutes until “All ashore” was called. Only when her father was safely, back on the dock and ship weighing anchor, would she feel truly safe and absolutley free. Despite her excitement, she barely dared to speak let alone look around; she could not bare the idea or face the possibility that with one simple faux pas she’d be off the ship and one her way home. She had already come too close for comfort.

Thank god for Reynolds, not only had her father been unable to find another chaperon but she stopped Lilly from making a foolish last minute error in the presence of her father. She was almost certain she saw the man who bumped into her, he was on the deck and moving casually through the crowd of passengers and well-wishers. She wanted to be positive and maybe see where he was heading; she stretched her neck to get a better view of the man but the first thing she saw was Reynolds’ finely arched brow rising lifting above her eye. Lilly smiled at Reynolds and resumed pretending she was listening to her father while she revisited the Reynolds puzzle.

“Oh, when will that horn blast?” she thought impatiently.

He had found her, the woman that he bumped into earlier in the week, perhaps, she'd be someone that would be willing to go back with him, hopefully. As he passed by, it was like an electric shock went through both of them, he kept walking but there eyes were connected until his neck hurt. He looked foreward and kept walking until the horn blew loudly and he had to grimace, it was loud, very loud. People were cheering and yelling to loved ones to see them on the other side. It's a shame thaty alot of them would be dead in two days time, give or take, he couldn't recall the actual date that the Titanic went down.

He walked to the bow of the ship and in minutes, he looked foreward to see the ocean moved past the ship as if it were meant to be. He sighed and looked out. He could remember the famous movie, Titanic that put the viewers on the ship and through the eyes of two lovers, of different classes. He sighed, it would be a rough few nights and he prayed to god, he could get out of this before the ship sank.

Finally, the "All ashore” was called and Lilly kissed her father good-bye. She was surprised to find herself wrapping her arms around him and even more surprised when her hugged her in return. Despite all her excitement, she nearly cried when he kissed her cheek and said, “Good bye, my little one” before he turned and walked down the gangplank.

A few minutes later, he was on the dock and she was standing at the rail of the huge ship, scanning the crowd and waving her handkerchief. Lilly had to admit that while she was looking for her father on land, she was also looking for the stranger, hoping she wouldn't see him because that would mean he had not remained aboard and she was hoping to see him again. Perhaps, if she ws lucky, they would meet out from under the eyes of the mysterious Reynolds. She bounced with happiness as she looked around and waved at no one in particular, she just could not contain her excitement any longer. No one could criticize her for her enthusiasm at this moment, on the dock and on the ship, there was no one who was not experiencing the thrill of departing on a journey and being part of maiden voyage of the most luxurious and safest ship ever built.

It was a day everyone would remember for the rest of their lives.

Drake McCloud

As the dock began to become smaller and smaller, people walked away from the railing and went about there buisness, wether it was talking with another person, exploring the ship or even playing kid games. Drake stood at the tip, looking down as the water rippled around the ship, it was amazing people could build this, especially at this era. He turned around to see kids playing some "TOP" game. A game where you spin a dradel and another tries to hit it off track, seemed they were having fun and before he could take another step, he saw "her" again. It was if someone was telling him, take her, she deserves a good life now.

He gathered up what courage he had and started to walk to her, casually and bumped into her, as if reinacting what happened just a few days ago. Sorry miss, I....oh, well hello again, nice to see a familiar face. He smiled gently.

Lilly Beaufort

Now that the ship has set and Lilly has the temporary freedom she has been so eagerly scheming to get, she strolls down the Grande Promenade behaving like the perfect lady. Her gait is unhurried as she gracefully moves through the throng of first-class passengers taking a final amble around the ship before changing for dinner. She nods her head in recognition to familiar faces and the raised hats of gentlemen, and she greets her personal acquaintances with a few polite words before everyone goes their separate ways and continues their turn around the deck.

Lilly was a little surprised but pleased when Reynolds agreed to allow her to continue her stroll alone. Although Lilly had a great interest in discovering whatever secrets Reynolds is hiding, she was just too thrilled by the treat of solitude to enquire into the personal matter that was calling her away. Lilly agreed to remain on the Promenade and then return directly to their suite. It was simple promise that Lilly had every intention of keeping.

"Sorry miss, I....oh, well hello again, nice to see a familiar face." He smiled gently.

She heard his voice at the same time she felt the slight jostling of the collision. Without looking up, she immediately knew who it was and she could feel her heart skip a little beat. She raised her chin and her deep blue eyes looked up at him from beneath her dark and softly fluttering lashes while a teasing smile graced her full lips.

“Good afternoon, sir. I am happy to see…” she stops herself be for she can admit how pleased she is to find him aboard the great ship, “…you have passed the time since our last meeting in good health.”

She raised her chin a little higher to both get a better look at him. Reynolds was right; he is quite handsome and so very… big. Lilly felt he was something else too but she was unfamiliar with the word virile, so the best she could do was decide he was very manly as a little quiver in her belly made her feel brazen.

“If we are going to keep meeting like this, perhaps we should introduce ourselves, after all no one expects strict formality while traveling aboard a ship. Correct?” She extends a glove-clad hand, “I am Lilly Beaufort.”

He had been a jokster in highschool and he felt it coming again. In his best british accent, he stood straight and bowed his head to her. Good to meet you Lily, my name is Drake. Drake wasn't a name you heard back in the day, well, this time period but perhaps that's when it started, he didn't know and didn't care.

Seems your personal advisor has left you alone this evening, care to travel around the ship and see what beauties she carries? He made the words "personal advisor" stand out, to lighten the day alittle more. She seemed very kind but held back. She was beautiful, especially her eyes, he had always been an eye person and he loved it.

Care to join me? He asked, putting out his arm boldly.

Lilly Beaufort

“It is a pleasure to meet you Mr. Drake.” She says with a charming smile as she ponders his curious accent. The Indies, perhaps?

“My personal advisor is the beautiful dragon named Reynolds, she is both my maid and my traveling companion for this journey. She has kindly permitted me a stroll on the Promenade and I would be quite pleased if you would accompany me.”

She puts her gloved hand on his arm and continues her stroll at his side. “Have you made the acquaintance of many of your fellow passengers by repeatedly bumping into them, Mr. Drake?” She chuckles softly and looks up at him to gauge his reaction to her gentle teasing. Her blue eyes shine with the pleasure of being his company and the butterflies in her stomach go ad with activity.

“I know quite a few people on board. I could make the introductions and spare you the possibility of injury.”

He just couldn't seem to get the hang of being called Mr. Please, call me Drake, I feel old whenever you say Mr. Drake. They both chuckled a bit, she had quite a sense of humor which he liked. He came to the conclusion that this woman, he would take back to his time but he'd wait, wait till a good time to tell her.

They walked together, watching people walk by, bowing there heads, greeting one another. Actually, your the first person I have met on this ship and no, I don't know anyone else here. Personally, I'm kinda glad I bumped into you. He wooed her slowly. He occasionally flirted but it never hurt from what he had been through. If you'd like me to meet some people and save me from a few black eyes and bruises, then be my guest.

Elizabeth Hunter was aboard the RMS Titanic, and was glad to finally set sail. Her mother and father were with her. Her elder brother had became very ill, and had stayed with Elizabeth's grandmother.

Elizabeth was aloud to be on the Grand Promenade, only for a short while, because she would have to get ready for dinner. She had saw a few people that she knew here and there. She even saw a few of her father's business partners on the ship. That didn't amaze her, after all they had just as much money as her family did. Just before the trip her father had bought all three of them a new wardrobe. She saw Ms. Lily coming her way with a man that she had never seen before. And last that she heard Lily wasn't seeing anybody. Who could this man be? She thought to herself.

Lilly Beaufort

Lilly smiles, “Of course, if that is what you wish, Drake.” She blushes slightly, She nearly giggled at the peculiarity of calling a man, not a relative, by a single name. It was so informal and too familiar. Father would be shocked and Reynolds, she would raise that eyebrow, but Lilly didn’t care.

As they strolled around the deck, Lilly paused on occasion, to introduce him to people she knew by close acquaintance. She always introduced him as Mr. Drake, anything else would raise too many eyebrows. While she maintained the perfect picture of a charming society debutante, she was dancing and laughing inside. She knew they were dying to question him, quiz him about his background and his family but were all too polite to do so on the deck of ship. Over brandy and cigars, thats when the inquisition would begin.

As they rounded the corner, Lilly saw the first face she was truly happy to see, Miss Elisabeth Hunter. Elizabeth had made her debut into Society during the same season as Lilly, they had even been Presented together. Lilly smiled happily, she knew that if Elizabeth managed to escape the watchful eye of her mother, the two of them would have great fun on the vast ship.

“Drake,” Lilly’s smile was her most flirtatious, “I see someone I would truly like you to meet.” Her eyelashes flutter over her lovely blue eyes, “Although I hesitate for fear her charms will steal you away.”

Lilly gently guides Drake toward Elizabeth. “Elizabeth, my dear, how good it is to see you aboard.” Lilly takes Elizabeth’s hands and kisses her cheek.

“I’d like you to meet my friend, Drake.”

Elizabeth

Lily you know my father, wouldn't keep us on land. Not for this special voyage. It wouldn't look good if one of England's wealthiest families were not aboard." she replied to Lily while kissing her cheeks.

And before the words could escape Elizabeth's mouth Lily had answered her question. “I’d like you to meet my friend, Drake.”" She looked at Lily for a minute. She turned to Drake. She gave him her best smile and saying "pleasure to meet you Mr. Drake." reaching her hand to him. "I'm Elizabeth Hunter"

He placed his hand on hers and bowed a bit and then simply kissed her hand. It is great to meet you as well Ms. Hunter. He said cheerfully. So many people, so little time. It was amazing one person could know all these people, especially from a society he had never known as a child, he had always been, mediocer until his father found his fortune.

Seems you know quite a number of people, I take it you two have known each other for some time now, correct? He asked politely.

“Yes, Drake. Of course, we have. Our families, move in the same social circles, we were Presented at court together, we have been attending all the same parties this Season.” Lilly kept her hand on his arm as she and “accidentally” brushed her breasts against him as she turned to speak to Elizabeth. She didn’t bother to hide the glint in her eye from her friend, Lizzie was no fool. “I’d say together, we know almost all of the English people in First Class, a great many of the Americans and quite a few of the Europeans. Wouldn't you agree, Elizabeth?”

She turns back to Drake, she cheeks blushing pink, she knew she was being incredibly brazen, like a hussy. “You’ll get to meet even more of those charming people at dinner. Then, after dinner, the men will gather together they will ask you a thousand questions as they try to determine who you are and where you come from. They will want to know your pedigree and your bank balance to decide whether you are a fit investor for their schemes or a suitable husband for their daughters. And they will do it politely over cigars and brandy” She flashes a dimpled cheek as she grins, “And in the salon, while you face the inquisitors, we ladies will gather and discuss your charm and…umm… good looks.”
