The Tick - Superhero to The City

Did anyone else watch The Tick tonight (Thursday)? I thought it has potential, BUT the Tick himself just doesn't seem in-character. Not to get on the actor - he did just about as good a job as anyone can wearing a blue bodysuit like that. Just that it didn't come off as fast and witty as the cartoon did. Otherwise, Arthur was ok, and the new angle on American Maid and BatManuel (i.e. Der Flaedermause) provided some of the funnier moments in the show.

And the Apocolypse Cow - oh my! (BTW - As this post likely suggests, I'm not too familiar with the comic book - just the prior cartoon series. I have no clue how it compares to the comics.)

While the show probably doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of another season - I am curious to see how the other episodes play.

I'm not familiar with either the comic book or the cartoon so I have nothing to go on. I did watch and agree that it has potential, but that might not be enough to keep it around long.
