I'm an Alternet Junkie, I admit it. And this is just too good not to share:

Wingnuts

Now, I know that these are extremists from the right and these statements don't reflect the Republican party (totally), but I still think it's an interesting read, particularly because of its absurdity.

I loved GW's speech yesterday where he said if elected the Dems would get rid of the "Tax Cuts" he passed. But they only affect the wealthiest 3% of Americans. Of course he didn't say that. :D

are you sure? i'm not sure what income one had to be, to feel the tax break...now, the big break came from capital gains, just wish we could remove the death tax, but that is big business (attorney's, insurance, and the goverment).

The death tax is a football that's been kicked around for a few years now. But think about it. There are lots of ways around the Death Tax. You can "Gift" your assets to family members (up to age 69 you can give away $100,000 each year, at age 70 you can give $1 Million/year), you can place them in tax exempt trusts and several other schemes.

Doing away with the Death tax just isn't worth the time and trouble. An, of course, you are right about the Lawyers making lots putting these schemes together.

But jeninflorida already stated a few days ago that "all the lawyers are democrats."

Me younger sister, Mary, is a lawyer and a stanch REPUBLICAN. She loves Bush because he's made her richer than ever. We don't get along well.

This is my favorite part:

"Dems are anti-God, anti-family, anti-morality, anti-Judeo-Christian heritage, anti-unborn children, anti-decency, anti-reason. They are, in short, basically demonic. Not all of them, of course, but that's the definition of the Dem agenda from a biblical study."

I never knew those things about myself. And we're even demonic, too!

She would have been rich without the tax cuts! She's a lawyer!

Hey, that's cool! Makes me actually want to declare a party affiliation!

I just can’t buy into the crap from either party….might have to move to Vermont, I like some ideas from the Rep, and some ideas from the Dem (as I upset people here). And now were held hostage with all the mud slinging for the next week

The really weird thing is that those tax cuts were passed with a sunset provision - all the Dems need to do is nothing, and they would expire, and tax rates would return to what they were before. Something that Bush's own deficit forecasts take into consideration, of course.

The only way the cuts were passed in the first place was because Bush argued that they were needed as a temporary economic stimulus. Right after he argued that they were needed because there was a surplus, and money would be spent by the people better than the government. Really rich people, mainly.

So, the beauty part is that they were passed only because of temporary conditions, and when they expire, he can blame the Dems for 'raising' taxes! Talk about a gift for chicanery!

No offense, jen, but I don't believe I've ever come across any of your posts that actually support any of the Democratic ideals.

Like Zeb, you state boldly that you haven't picked a side, and yet with every post your bias is fairly clear.

It's a free country (it still is, isn't it?) Believe whatever you wish, of course, but don't try and blow smoke up my skirt.

It's a masterful marketing move, isn't it?

I also liked how on FOX news they listed Foley as a Democrat several times during the day. Brilliant.

Reality is perception. And perception comes from information. So if the information a person receives is of a particular type and form their perception can't help but follow.

I wrote about it last year. (Plug, plug) ;)

True, I do tend to lean more towards the right (pro business and smaller goverment)

I’m pro-choice, pro porn, pro legal reform, and other things. Most things lean to the right, but a few things to the left.

Man, which version of the bible was he reading?

The one that I have talks a lot about helping the poor. The central message is one of love and tolerance.

Which party stands for those Values again?

*snort*
Well, it's the Republican party platform. Except for helping the poor. And being tolerant. They're good to like-minded Christian folk with money, though. So that's a sign of values, right?

Face it people. There are five days left before the elections. The Republicans will say anything to influence the ignorant and unwashed. The simply refuse to understand that their party is imploding on it's own misdeeds.

I think our own Busybody must have written this:

Dems are anti-God, anti-family, anti-morality, anti-Judeo-Christian heritage, anti-unborn children, anti-decency, anti-reason. They are, in short, basically demonic. Not all of them, of course, but that's the definition of the Dem agenda from a biblical study.

No, I guess not. He would have called them Demonic-crats.

Ya know, last time I looked Wrath and Pride were deadly sins, that condemned you to Hell for eternity.

Even if you're working for the good guys that's true.

I wonder if the jackasses behind these nasty ploys understand that?

The repeal of the dividend and capital gains tax will probably knock 2000+ points off the Dow. 53 % of U.S. households have a piece of this through 401Ks, IRAs, etc. I am one of them and my household is right smack in the U.S. median. "Tax cuts for the rich" is the Big Lie - repeat it enough times and people believe it. Including Jenny Jackson right here on AH.

(No doubt a bunch of people will jump in and tell me what a fool I am because people above the median have done even better under these tax cuts, and will take a bigger hit when the taxes are increased. I don't mind other people doing well, I would rather other people not take a hit, but mostly I regret that I will take a hit. And I don't even understand why anyone wants that, because for the last few years under these tax cuts the money has been rolling into the Treasury in phenomenally high, record breaking amounts. If you say they've been spending it even faster then you've changed the subject without responding to my point. Three years ago the statists said the higher revenue was a one-time shot because the "rich" were cashing in their cap gains. The "one time shot" has kept on giving year after year, so that one won't wash either. Incentives matter, folks - ignore that at your peril. Or rather at my peril, you bastards. You'll stick it to me, it won't improve you, it won't improve the budget, it will be nothing but a dead weight losss all around, and many of you will be celebrating. This is very sad.)

They didn't mention how much we like to fuck?

Blasphemers!

Has anyone heard about this?

There is supposedly a 72 hour Republican strategy. For the last 72 hours. What is it? Footage of Kerry* sucking dead rats? giving Osama a blow job?

---
Rox's taxes: just wondering how she would pay for the Iraq war and so on? is 'borrow and spend' a feasible approach (US borrowing from the Chinese)?

---
*Kerry is the man to beat, ya know!

---
WP, today: But the candidates in the most jeopardy have come out swinging. Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.), who continues to trail his opponent badly in the polls, released an ad featuring a young Iraq war veteran who accuses Pennsylvania state Treasurer Robert P. Casey Jr. (D) of investing billions of the state's dollars in companies that support terrorists.

Perhaps people need to know that the Democratic Party has joined the Al Qaeda network.
